Classical Guitar Christmas Collection

Straight melody with no rings and bells.
I don't like this arrangement for two reason:(1) The sheet music arrangement is a no-frilles(2) I hate music that requires E to D turning on the 6th string.

Not an expert, but this book makes me sound like one.
This is perfect for the intermediate player...the arrangements sound wonderful and can even be played on a steel stringed guitar because of the simplicity of the finger picking. Makes me sound like a much better player than I actually am, and the song selection has a good range of more classical, 'churchy' Christian tunes in addition to the secular stuff like Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls. My favorite Christmas song book of all time, by far. It's made much easier by the tablature alongside the traditional notation. I only wish the lyrics were included

For real beginners only. (1st year guitarists)
If you're a beginning guitarist (first year) this book might be for you. If you're already moderately skilled at classical guitar (2nd year or further) don't waste you money on this book. Most pieces are one page long. Good King Wenceslas is 12 bars long! The First Noel starts with 9 bars of a single note melody! My own made up arrangements ae better than that! Wish I could return it.If you're just getting started & want to play some really easy Christmas music this book is probably a good choice otherwise you should look elsewhere.

A fun way to get in the Christmas spirit. GOOD ARRANGEMENTS!
A very nice, comprehensive collection of beautiful arrangements. My favorite is, "Good Kind Wenceslas." They are all done in good taste and very easy to learn and get down, as they are idiomatic for the guitar. Very casual arrangements. Jesu Joy is nice, but I made a few changes.

Nice arrangements but very challenging
This is a nice collection of christmas songs but it is one of the harder fingerpicking books I own. Not for the beginner.

Great resource for guitar enthusiasts
Both tabs and standard notation facilitates the learning of beautiful Christmas' songs. I definitely would recommend it with no reservations.

The arrangements are ok but the edition could be much better.
The score is ridiculously small and the Amazon Kindle software doesn't even allow me to zoom in, print it or create a pdf file. The arrangements are ok but the edition could be much better.

Classical Christmas
Some great arrangements - with more emphasis on bass lines than some old books I have. And a few that can be played all year too like Pachelbel's Canon in D which is perhaps the nicest arrangement of 4 different versions I now have.

Which Christmas?
Nice collection of Christmas music for a very reasonable price. Quite a few pieces are in dropped D alternative tuning. Not for the beginner but not too difficult for someone who has mastered the basics. Unfortunately I have ten thumbs, poor eyesight and the attention span of a fridge magnet. So it's going to take a while.
