Cute and Great Quality
This was my first crochet hook set. I honestly chose this because it's cute, it's pink, it comes in a cute and convenient small booklet, and the crochet hooks are gold. The entire product very much fits into my aesthetic, not going to lie. I also like that it came with the scissors and needles for weaving in the ends. I figured it'd be a good set to start with, and the price was pretty good too - I purchased it full price for the $43 price, but it's gone on sale a few times from what I've seen for $33-$35 ish dollars. I would say full price, it was still worth it. The needles are very comfortable to use - I haven't gotten any hand cramps yet and I've been crocheting quite a bit. They're a little slippery at first if you've never done crochet before it might throw you off, but once you get into a rhythm of things and get more experienced, they're very comfortable to work with! They're also quite weighty - I was worried they'd be like the metal knitting needles I had and would be really lightweight but I like how "hefty" they feel in my hand. Overall I'm super impressed and fully plan on getting the etimo rose set as I've also heard good things about that. I've purchased a few things from Tulip since I got these and I've been pretty impressed by every single item so far! This set is also super convenient to take when I'm on the go because it contains everything that I feel is really necessary when I'm crocheting, which is another reason why I love it. The size is also quite compact, and it's not overly thick, so it will definitely fit in a smaller bag if necessary. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anybody who's starting out or even experienced.

Tulip crochet hooks are my absolute favorites!
I’m a Master level knitter. I’ve knit professionally for movie studio’s and private clients and also been a knitwear pattern designer. So I know my way around every brand of knitting needle. However, having learned crochet as a child, I’ve not paid too much attention to hooks or their construction. Until recently.I have inexplicably become obsessed with crocheting doilies. The more complex the better. And here’s where hook construction, balance and comfort comes in.I’ve used the usual, Bates, Boye, ivory, plastic, steel - and a inexpensive ergonomic set of plastic wrapped steel hooks. And then I tried Tulip - and it was love at first use!!I had NO IDEA what I was missing. I’ve now bought 2 sets (including this one) and I can’t rave enough about them.First: they are beautiful. And smooth. And balanced. Uber easy to use. Actually a JOY to use.And the case they come in is very handy. One thing that I really appreciate is the clear cap each hook has to protect the tip from abrasion when not in use. Tulip has thought of everything. These hooks are expensive, but in my opinion they are worth the cost. Something I will use and enjoy for decades to come.

The real deal
I have the soft grip version of these hooks. They are my absolute favorite hooks. I saw these and thought I would give them a try. The price point is better than the soft grip ones. These hooks did not disappoint. They are as smooth as tulip hooks should be. They are light weight and easy to use. The case is compact and the price point is so good.If you love tulip hooks, buy this set❤️

Love’m
I love these hooks for working my cotton yarns and crochet thread! I’m sure they will work great on anything I choose to crochet. The hook head moves through stitches smoothly.

The best crochet hooks on the market
I have been crocheting for 51 years, and for about 35 of those years I've been in search of the perfect crochet hooks for my grip style. I hold hooks like a pencil because that's how I learned with very tiny hooks and crochet thread. When I branched out into crocheting yarn, I had problems with the hooks hurting my fingers or causing trigger thumb. I tend to crochet with a majority of the heavy lifting on my thumbs. I realized I needed a narrow handle on my hooks. I needed an inline or hybrid hook head. I needed a light weight hook. I have now found the best hooks for me in these Tulip hooks. Some reviewers complain about the scissors, but I bought this set for the hooks, and they are a great value for the money!

For non- ergonomic crocheters
They looked nice, but I decided to wait and find some that have ergonomic handles.

Simply Flawless
These crochet hooks are nothing less than amazing. I have been crocheting for 40 years. These hooks are flawless. I mostly am a thread crochet person. These hooks slide through cotton, nylon, and silk thread like no hook I have ever used before. I have another set of Tulip Etimo Rose hooks with soft pink handles. I prefer this set to the pink handle set. These hooks are better than my Clovers, my Addi Swings, my Susan Bates, all of them. They arrived very quickly from Japan. If you love to crochet and appreciate fine tools then you owe it to yourself to get a set of these hooks.

Can’t wait to learn now
I have no idea what I’m doing. This is my first set and I plan to make something very soon. These are super cute went off of other peoples reviews and they seem to be very pleased. I hope I’ll feel the same way.
