Good seed which germinated after over seeding my lawn which followed with constant rain afterwards thought the seed may have rotted with the conditions but its all growing nice now so very pleased

Came in plain plastic bag. Prepared patched lawn with raking old thatch and loosened surface. Applied seed.Mid September..we will see. Expect to see shoots in a few days if rain persists. I put 4 stars as not grown yet.

Love this seed. All I can say is this seed worked well in my garden. Prior to seeding I’ve always had issues with our lawn. The soil is very clay like and doesn’t drain well and consequently we get loads moss. So it’s no exaggeration when I tell you that most of my lawn was moss and previous years I’ve put moss killer down but it just returns with an avengence and due to this it just built up - I Woukd get rid of some but it would return so this year I was determined to get my lawn looking good. I looked up some YouTube videos and learnt how to restore my lawn and got rid of the moss with moss killer and painstaking raking leaving barely any grass just dirt patches. Then I put gypsum down to break down the clay. I then went round the whole lawn with a fork staving holes to aireate it!! Listen to me- I’m no pro btw I found all this out from online garden professionals. lol. I then put down a thin layer of compost then this brilliant seed and another thin layer of compost over the top. I then put netting over and staked down over the top.l to prevent the pigeons from taking it all. Two weeks later beautiful green lush grass coming through. I then cut theTop of the grass initially not too short so just the top part and it just got thicker and thicker. I have a couple of small bare areas that need seeding and one area where it’s thinner but I don’t think that’s anything to do with the seed itself I think it’s more to do with me missing those bits. The pictures are of my lawn now which has had its third cut now and look how green, thick and lush it looks. So i have to say I am very pleased with the seed and will be purchasing some more for over seeding in the future to keep my lawn thick and hopefully this will prevent opportunities for the moss to return. I weighed the package as on delivery it seemed very light and it was 300g underweight. Won’t be using again. As for the quality of the seed the reduced amount of product I had was sown at the weekend and still early days.

I first raked all the moss out of the lawn, sprinkled the grass seed onto the ground covered it with a thin layer of earth and then covered the whole lot with a clear plastic sheet and was quite amazed to see it grow incredibly well after six days this is in the month of September
