Great shipping container
I have been using these mailing containers for years and I have never had a problem. I mail books with different sizes and weights and these mailers support all of them. The quality is good and hold up well under USPO conditions.

Great book mailers
I mail out quite a few books and these boxes work perfectly! I have purchased these several times because of the price and the convenience of using these boxes. It is true that it isn't always easy to get it on the exact fold that I want the first time and as a result the box isn't always perfectly straight when I am done, rather curved on the sides, but this doesn't take away from the functionality. I also always wrap the books in bubble wrap first so they are a bit more protected. I have never experienced a problem with damage to the book inside during shipment and for this reason, these boxes do the job just fine.I have bought similar boxes, that are more easily folded, but they have also been more expensive. I will continue to stick with this box as long as the price is right!

This Product I Horrible
This would be a better product if it also adjusted on the ends. But as it is it only adjusts on the sides, consequently, if the item doesn't exactly fit the dimensions of the fold, it slides around. But what makes this product so bad is that the top and bottom ends aren't anchored to anything, and your book can pop out and get lost in the mail. Therefore, you have to use an excessive amount of packing tape to secure the ends so your books don't fall into the USPS abyss.I don't recommend this product at all, and I won't be buying them again.

Great economy boxes
The boxes are the cheapest multi-depth ones of the size we could find. Overall, they are great. It's a little difficult to get the boxes to bend on the perforations without the bend "moving" to an adjacent perforation because the cardboard isn't extremely rigid, and the perforations are a little "rough" on the outside when folded; however, these aren't big issues. We found the cardboard on other boxes to be a little sturdier, but that also meant they were heavier for shipping; the cardboard on these boxes is certainly plenty sturdy that it's not an issue. Overall, this is a great product at a great price that we would recommend and will be purchasing again.

Worked Great!
Worked perfectly for the job I was doing. I had to add some half-inch styrofoam cuts to firmly package a plastic ring bind personal book made from a color laser printer of less than 1 inch (final 9 X 11 inches X 1 inch). Post office had no comparable option. Nice to have an option of ordering less than 100 at time, at less than a dollar apiece. I was able to order 50, rather a minimum quantity of 100 from someone like U-line (a bit cheaper by quantity). The only drawback the length of time to recieve (1 week) for free shipping, but that wasn't a biggy. Apparently, orders are produced upon order rather than shipping from a preproduced inventory, which is similar to a book on demand option.

Thinner than I expected, even after reading reviews
Yes, they are very thin -- 1/16" thin, to be exact! In fact, if you squeeze too tightly in-between thumb and forefinger, you can actually make an indentation and crush the fluted cardboard inside that comprises the corrugation in-between the very thin outside sheets. Thank God that you get the side flaps, or this product might not give the support needed during shipment. I was planning on using bubble wrap inside, but now I'm thinking I might need more cardboard support, too. That will negate the money I thought I was going to save by using these boxes to mail comic books, instead of envelopes with two sheets of cardboard, which are twice the thickness of these and give all the support I need, but are twice the cost of one of these boxes. The scores where you bend the boxes to adjust the height have very shallow indentations and are very hard to see and feel. This would have been much better with perforated scores. So, what you need to do is lay the open box down on a stable horizontal surface and lay a straightedge like a sturdy ruler in front of the score you want to bend, and then it's much easier. The boxes seem to want to bend at the most shallow depth of 1/2", so be careful of that if you want a deeper box.The thinness will reduce some of the weight and lower the cost of shipping, so that is a plus. But I do wish that they were about twice as thick as they are. Once the box is folded, it feels sturdy enough, but let's see if it survives the rigors of a trip through USPS land. If I don't get any complaints, I guess it will be okay.

Great boxes to ship items
I think these are great. They are a little thin but I've not had any trouble with them as other reviewers have mentioned. I'm not sure I'd trust them to an item that I didn't want crushed. I really like that the size is adjustable. I'd purchase them again, but won't need to anytime soon. There are so many in the box that they should last me quite a while. I was hesitant to purchase them because the shipping was so high, but the box is very large (about 2' x 2-1/2' x 12") and I'm sure part of the cost of the boxes is rolled into the shipping. All in all it's a pretty fair price considering there are 50 boxes.

Not a Dependable Product
I have had to return my second batch of these because the perforations were not on the cardboard. I've found another similar brand that is much more consistent.
