The box and cards were all beautiful and good quality. Made a great gift for my mom.

The item itself is exactly as advertised! The box is sturdy, and the magnets that hold the lid to the base are strong. Just for fun, I flipped the box upside down (while empty) and shook it, and the lid stayed secured to the base. The wood was beautiful, and came with that brilliant 'old wood' scent. The cards themselves were also marvelous! You're not receiving glossy paper that allows the ink to smudge when you touch it, and the patterns on them are really cute. The dividers are even cuter, and they are made of something a bit smoother and softer than the recipe cards. You receive three of each, and the colors and patterns go very well together. The conversion card may have been my favorite part, as I often forget and resort to the internet to find specific conversions, thus allowing my phone case to get slightly wet. The fonts on this card differ from those on the box and the recipe cards, all perfectly elegant! Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Five stars. Thank you!

My dear granddaughter is getting married and I wanted to give her a meaningful gift for her bridal shower. Well, this is PERFECT!! I can compile my favorite recipes with those of her friends and family and have a gift she will treasure for a lifetime. The recipe cards are durable and have appealing designs, I also purchased the extra set of cards so there are plenty. The dividers keep the recipes organized and the recipe box is well built. Bought this Recipe Box as a gift to myself after Christmas and it was exactly what I was looking for! The box is constructed well and is overall really good quality. There is a magnetic closure and holds a lot of cards. The recipe cards included are made with a quality card stock. I use felt-tip pens (marker-like) and they do not bleed through at all! I have already purchased another card set from this seller! The set also comes with a handy measure conversion chart and cute recipe dividers. I will have fun writing out all of my family recipes and creating new ones!

The storage capacity is really good in this one. I like that they have to slit on top where you could sit your recipe card. I’m concerned about the hinges not being durable enough for opening and closing a lot because I use my recipe box a lot they weren’t screwed in really flat. I had to get a screwdriver and tighten them in to make it be flat the stain though and it’s really beautiful. I love the color of it. I just wish for the money it came with some at least a few recipe cards would be nice. I thought that it did, but it doesn’t then that’s gonna cost you for that.

This recipe box is perfect. It is so cute on the kitchen counter and just the right size to be noticeable without being too big and take up too much space. The cards that come with it are also very beautiful. I even ordered an extra set of the cards just to have more space for future recipes. The first box that arrived was a bit damaged. As soon as I emailed Kara/the company, she immediately fixed the situation and sent me a new box. She did not even request that I send back the previous box and made life very easy and convenient. On top of that, when I got the new box (in a matter of a couple days I might add), she had included a thoughtful note addressed to me and also included a couple of free notebooks to show her appreciation and make up for the mistake with the damage. It wasn't necessary, but so appreciated and really shows their quality customer service and desire to make things right if a customer isn't satisfied with anything. I would highly recommend both the product and the business!

Just buy it! Buy it for you, your mom, your sister-in-law, or any men who love cooking, just BUY IT! It’s just beautiful to look at, touch, and use! I simply love this recipe box! Countless times I’ve called my mom at the grocery store a day before a holiday tracking down all the ingredients to my favorite family recipes... then jotting down the directions on the receipt! It needed to stop! I needed to grow up and plan meals and that meant writing down/keeping track of recipes. The cards are thick card stock, the box is wood, and there is even a slot to hold up the recipe (for the messy bakers like me)! Just buy it, you won’t regret it. I’m not getting paid to write this, (but I won’t turn down any free gifts ;) ) it’s truly worth the money!
