10SQ05-160 115v 3" Submersible Water Well Pump

The Grundfos design with staged impellers is amazing. We are using this pump in a bored well about 2 feet in diameter. Ours is a 3-stage impeller, and the total static head is about 37 feet pumping up to a pressure tank. The pump is supported by the discharge pipe, but also with a safety wire for retrieval if things ever go wrong. The previous well pump was an above ground injector pump with a venturi at the foot. Look up the advantages and compare the two designs! Our electrical consumption has dropped significantly, and eliminating the foot is a great improvement in reliability. The built in softstart of the Grundfos also eliminates the need for a torque reducing coupling. Excellent product.

I have had this pump for a couple months now with no issues. Works like a charm. Real easy to install

Pump works, but does not meet the listed specs. There is no way this thing is rated to pump 10 GPM with such a small pump section. - I have a 68 foot install height with a 39 foot water surface height, and this thing will not fill my pressure tank beyond 40 PSI if there is any one faucet open (1.5/2.0 GPM limited). Once I close the faucet, it will fill from 40PSI to 60PSI in about 45 seconds. - For $800.00, I expected a lot better pump, or at least one that meets it's advertised specs. and lasts a very long time.

well pump for home use. went deeper,more volume and pressure than deep well jet pump.

The best submersible pump I have ever used. Durability, reliability and features set it apart from the rest. If you need a heavy duty pump this is it.

When pump was installed, the motor hummed and would not start. Contacted seller to return it, but was instructed that the motor/pump unit would have to be shipped back to the closest warranty service center for evaluation.
