Good value for a mechanical keyboard
I bought this to replace a logitech membrane keyboard. The previous keyboard was mushy and had annoyingly shaped keys, causing typing errors and generally slowed me down. It's harder to find keyboards with brown switches (which I knew I wanted due to previous experience) especially at the cheaper end of the range. I first tried an "Eagletec" keyboard but disliked it immediately. You couldn't turn off the animated lighting effects and the key feel was pretty lousy. They didn't feel smooth and the spacebar had to be hit quite hard to make it reliably register. This was the second keyboard I tried and I'm much happier. Build quality is better than I would have thought for the price. It has some weight to it so it doesn't slide around, there's no flex in the board, and the spacebar doesn't feel wobbly like it does on many keyboards. The little legs to angle it appear sturdy and put the board at a good tilt for me. Lighting controls weren't 100% intuitive but a quick check of the directions let me get to something I like (no pulse, mid-level lighting). Key feel is fine, they feel smooth and I haven't run into any missed or double key strokes. Overall size is good too, the keyboard is barely larger than the layout of the keys so it doesn't take over your desk. The only two things I have issue with are personal preference, not really an indication of a bad board...1. The font used on the keys is a little odd. Not terrible, but it's non-standard and with more of a "gamer" look to it.2. Yellow isn't my favorite color... but I knew the color when I bought it. The keyboard looked like it was otherwise what I wanted to I decided to live with the color.Overall, this is a great keyboard for the money. Are there some better ones out there? Yes... but not that I've found for $45. At that price this board is very solid value.

Great value
The first thing that struck out to me was just how heavy the keyboard is, it's beefy! The materials feel premium and I quite like the "exposed" design. The print on the keys are not standard, and while that doesn't bother me, others might find it a bit off putting (although it's likely that the target audience for such a product won't spend much time looking at the keys anyway). You can easily control the back light directly via the function key, the brightness levels are nice and it is possible to switch off completely - pretty cool for when you want to watch a movie and the light is distracting. I'm using the brown switches, and while a tad louder than regular keyboards, it's not too bad. The key presses feel very nice, are super precise and the overall experience is very gratifying. All in all, I think this product is great value for the money, and as a software developer I'll be sure to get a ton of use out of it. Recommended!

I've been using this keyboard for while
The only problem I have run into was one of the keys on the Numpad was hitting other keys when pressed so I switched it with another key and it worked fine since then. Everything else has been working wonderfully. I like the volume of it and the space bar does not have a ringing reverb like other keyboards do.It has a nice feel and weight to the keyboard and feels quality (even with the deformity) I feel like I would recommend it if you want something at a lower price range.

Cool keyboard!
The media could not be loaded. First off, this isn't my first rodeo with an AJAZZ keyboard (as it happens, I own an AJAZZ tenkeyless that I've been using since last year). I purchased this one to use at the office, to replace the keyboard that typically accompanies a new desktop PC. It came with a braided cable, a set of extra keys and a key removal tool.My thoughts: -- I enjoy the light show that occurs on the keyboard when I first start up my PC -- the yellow color of the light is easy on the eyes -- brown switches are especially responsive, which I appreciate -- the responsiveness of the switches is not affected by the temperature of a room in a way that significantly affects my productivity -- this keyboard is actually less noisy than its tenkeyless counterpartI thought the fact that this keyboard is NOT tenkeyless would be an issue; alas, it has not been a factor one way or the other, which is good, because my desk at work is crowded. The keys themselves are tall. I stop short of stating they are taller than average; however, my desk at work is the type I can raise or lower by pushing a button, which makes the height of the keys a non-issue for me.The keyboard IS delicate. Fortunately, it just sits on my desk at work, so that is not a great liability, and I have chosen not to reduce the number of stars for durability for this reason.I actually did not intend to make another AJAZZ purchase; that was entirely coincidental. I was, in fact, pleasantly surprised to discover I had made another AJAZZ purchase, as it says a lot about the company and their ability to provide what I want at the right price point.I do recommend this product, and suspect I will patronize this company and its products again.

holy ****
Characters are small, off center, and oddly constructed (gaps like on a stencil, A looks like a triangle, etc). These factors, compounded by the amount of light escaping from under the keys, make it very difficult to use this keyboard. The color is just a little off white, not even close to yellow. It has a vast number of ridiculous visual effects, and it sometimes decides to change itself from my chosen steady white configuration to a silent black-and-white rendition of the 4th of July. I just wanted to see my keys in the dark, OK?
