The photo voltaic cell is not on a swivel, only up and down. The light cannot be pointed straight up.

I have bought several sets of these for our huge (3 acres) property. I've put them along our long driveway that is lined with pine trees and they're really pretty. I will continue to buy this brand for our backyard, too

I liked that you can choose a low or high setting. I opted for low to see how it worked at lightning up my front porch so I could see when getting home after dark. Very easy to install and a sturdy product. Unfortunately, it only worked for about five days. I’m so glad I only used one. Not sure if I’ll be trying a second one or not. Very disappointed in the lifespan.

I’ve been buying a fair amount of stuff for Amazon over the years but this recent Solar light purchase is hands down THE BEST purchase ever. The spot lights are amazingly bright. The smaller light emit a bright “star” pattern. Saved well over 50% compared to the Box stores. Initially I had them on the bright setting for the photos but I switched to the dimmer setting as these sure light up the area. Great comments from the neighbors. Love this product and ordered another 6 tonight for the backyard Palm trees
