Works great. It's not possible for anything like this to stay in place using one hand unless it's made out of cement. Just push down with your index finger on your left hand on the knob top and pull off with your right. It's better than going through boxes of kleenex that seem to go quick and it takes up less room on a desk.

This is a wonderful solution for a bathroom with a large countertop or the back of the toilet. It says something about the kitchen on it and I do not like that. Considering painting it that is why i gave it 4 stars. HOWEVER it is perfect for what i needed it for... I was tired of the toilet paper roll just sitting there, now it has a home.

This is like a paper towel holder only it is just the right size for one roll of toilet paper.Great idea for tiny powder rooms where there is no room for a holder on the wall or end of a vanity.

Sturdy, and has good weight...instructions suggest placing the wood disc on top of the toilet paper roll, but that puts too much weight on the roll and a sheet of toilet paper tears off one sheet at a time. Placing the toilet paper roll on top of the disc allows the sheets to unroll more easily.

Using it to turn all the two ply tp I purchased at the beginning of this pandemic into tissues!

This is well made and it looks nice. I think it will last for many years. The wooden disc goes on top of the tissue roll which looks nice and makes it easier to use.
