Really good mix
Great price and usable in many ways. I found the bigger boxes at Costco and add my own chocolate chips or whatever to them but this pancake mix is so great we stay three boxes on hand at all times. It’s great with powdered mixtures like eggs and milk and they are still good with just water. I mostly just use two cups of the mix and a can of some type of soda water and they come out perfect every time.

Delicious and Easy to Make
In an effort to eat more protein, I bought this product and I am so happy with it! The pancakes alone are fantastic and there are also many recipes like muffins and cookies for treats. Will have these on a regular rotation at my house.

I eat nothing else for breakfast
Guys. You don't know me, but there's never been a time in my life I have been so drawn to a breakfast food. I have been 100% obsessed with the Dark Chocolate Kodiak Cakes. Does this sound like an exaggeration? Well buckle up, partner, because I'm about to take you on a ride.I started focusing on my health most recently in March 2022. I've really buckled down after gaining some pandemic weight (but come on, who didn't gain a little bit during all of that?!). So I started upping my protein and tracking calories so that I could be good to my body.Fast forward to around June when I truly got into a balanced routine of nutrition and fitness. I was really struggling with finding high protein recipes I could really consider staples. At one point I bought the Dark Chocolate Kodiak Cakes pancake mix for some recipe I found online for a high protein dessert. And uh oh, I did not know just what I was getting myself into. The dessert was decent but I decided to try the pancake mix as officially intended and made some pancakes for breakfast one day, around or on June 23rd. I loved them so much I wanted them again. And again. And again. I started looking forward to breakfast every morning and even sometimes midday I would verbalize that I couldn't wait until breakfast the next day. This may all sound like a joke, but I assure you I am dead serious. I love these pancakes so much that I have eaten them almost every single morning since that first day. The only times I haven't had them since then are when I was sick with covid (and barely ate at all) and when the grocery store was out of stock.Unfortunately the grocery store kept disappointing me even though I went multiple days in a row to try to get this elusive product. Nothing for days! I couldn't just keep sitting around hoping it'd show up on the shelf, so I had to do something else.I looked to see if I could get it shipped to me and noticed they had it in bulk. HOORAY! I can even subscribe and get a new bulk box of mix as often as I need it! I have to get the 6 pack, because let's be honest, I'm a fiend for these babies. So remember when I said I had covid? I decided to skip my subscription since I had a lot of mix left from not eating for two weeks. Let me tell you, this was a big mistake on my part.Roughly a week and a half ago I ran out. My next auto-shipment wasn't scheduled for two more weeks. I thought I would be okay; venture out and try new breakfast options, maybe grab a box or two from the grocery store (yeah, wishful thinking, I know). But I'm going to be honest with you, I am not okay. I need my pancakes! There is just something about starting my day with some delicious chocolate protein pancakes that jumpstarts my motivation and helps me be excited to hit my daily goals. Not being able to start my day with these pancakes have been such a rough time (absolutely first-world problems, I know, but give me a break, I am obsessed). It just kind of throws my day off track and I just keep looking forward to when I'll have that sweet, sweet pancake mix in my hands once again. If I ever run out (or they decide to discontinue them for some reason), I may die.Tl;Dr - Fav pancakes/breakfast of all time, and the #1 way I prefer to start every day.

Taste amazing!
This the best Pancake mix my family likes. It is hard to fine in stores, so I was happy to see it here. It's healthier in my opinion. The quantity you get it great for the price.

Wonderful Fluffy Pancakes With Some Minor Tweaks
With a few minor tweaks to the package directions, we had some of the fluffiest 1/2-inch thick pancakes we've eaten in quite a while. When I followed the package directions exactly, the mix came out too thin--at least for our taste. The directions list a 1:1 ratio of water to mix (1 cup of each), but the batter was a tad runny when prepared that way. Here are the tweaks I made… I used milk instead of water & added an egg because we wanted the extra protein (these options are provided on the label, too, by the way). First I poured 1 cup of milk in a mixing bowl, added 1 egg, then hand-whipped for a minute to make sure they were thoroughly combined. Next, I measured in 1 cup of mix and very gently combined it, being careful not to overmix or agitate the starch too much, as that can make pancakes come out tough and rubbery. After gently combining, the mixture was too watery, so I gently folded in some extra mix from the box, a tablespoon or two at a time until it was a thicker but still pourable consistency. If I had to guess, I'd say I added about five or six extra tablespoons of mix, but it's hard to say exactly because I always eyeball it. (Been making pancakes this way for years, so I guess I have a feel for it developed over time.) I made sure the griddle was nice and hot on medium high heat before pouring. (Griddle's ready when you splash on a few drops of water and they dance and evaporate right away.) I melted a pat of butter for each cake, poured on the batter, let it sit undisturbed until bubbles form and the edges look golden, then flipped and let them cook for another 30 seconds or so. The pancakes turned out great--nice and fluffy (see photos), very tasty, and we will definitely buy more of this mix.(Note: It may be worth mentioning for the more experienced bakers out there, I live at about 4500 feet above sea level, so I'm not sure if that would be considered high altitude in the case of this mix or if it would alter the outcome of my preparation methods at a different altitude.)
