Beautiful Kettle and Works Well
Very pleased with this beautiful kettle, which heats up very quickly. It does make a bit of noice as it heats, but it arms so fast that the noice is over before you know it. The sides are not well insulated, so it does not hold temperature for long, but the bottom is perfectly insulated so there is no danger in putting it down while hot. Overall, I am very pleased that I was able to find a kettle that is a bit of a statement piece since it has to sit out on the counter anyways, and it works very well!

Great kettle
I have changed all my kitchen equipment to the swan retro range in blue and its lovely. The kettle boils really quickly and is quite quiet. Would recommend.

Great looking kettle and light weight too
This kettle looks good and is small compared to my last kettle but it works quickly and holds as much plus is much lighter which is good. It cost a fraction of my last very expensive designer brand kettle so I’m happy. None seem to last long these days so it makes sense to buy affordable Swan products. Easy to keep clean too. F

Swan blue kettle was gorgeous for 5 months, returned
*** UPDATED 30/07/2023***So I have had this kettle about 5 months. I returned to Amazon for a refund today 30/07/2023.The reasons I returned the kettle are for the following reasons. The actual kettle doesn’t have enough paint, the paint fades and little yellow circles appear through to the metal. The handle is dyed, yes dyed a dark colour. This can not be wiped off, and it is rusting from the outside in. I looked after my kettle, the lid wouldn’t come off properly so I had no other option but to fill the kettle through the spout. Every time water seeped down the sides or spout it was wiped with a non lint cloth. We do live in a hard water area, however once a week used tablets for the inside to remove the lime scale. However the steam from the kettle corroded the lid tight and all around the spout. We tried everything, and bought everything to try and keep it looking nice. Nothing worked. The morning, when I was boiling the water up, the kettle was making sounds like snap crackle and pop, I could hear it at the top of my garden it was so loud. Also noticed the handle was getting very wobbly. It isn’t just the kettle in this blue colour, my microwave is the same, rusting from inside.Nowadays there just isn’t enough paint over the enamel, very cheaply made.Amazon customer services were great, issued me with a refund straight away, and kettle returned.People who have soft water might not have issues, however my issues isn’t about the water, it’s the noise, the handle loose, and the loud banging from it, and paint peeling off.Personally I would stay away from this make. I have just bought a Ninja Kettle which I wished I had bought in the first place.I have added extra images to show the state after a few months.Sadly my star value had to be changed from my initial review.…………………………………………………………………………………… ……………..Majority of appliances in my home are Swan as I find very reliable.I am a Vine reviewer on Amazon, however I bought this kettle, and my review as usual will be honest.I read a lot of reviews on Amazon prior to buying and one thing that always stood out was the paint chipping away from the kettle. I did write on the questions & answer part to ask was the chipping away of paint included in the warranty. I was asked by Swan should this happen to take photos to send them.I haven’t had the kettle long ( Feb 7th 2023) so at review 9 days), so far the kettle is still gorgeous. I have the light blue to go with my Swan Microwave equally perfect. As with most kettles they do soak up the electric, but I find I do not need to fill to the top, as a little gives me two mugs of hot tea or coffee. The kettle itself is lightweight, and even when full isn’t that bad, I am left hande so this kettle is good for us lefty’s.Boils very quick compared to my last one.The noise from this kettle is very loud, and I mean loud. Having said that, my other Russell Hobbs was very loud too. I do not mind the loudness, because I can hear it click off straight away.I would also like to mention, water. I live in a town/ area where hard water is a big problem. If you live in a hard water area, or want to help prevent the peeling of the colour, always think about wiping any water residue from the spout, lid and body of the kettle. Lime scale is not nice. I always write in my journal to de scale the kettle every 3-4 weeks to keep the element free of limescale and also prolongs the life of the kettle. The warranty from Swan is good, one year on buying, plus an extra year when registering your kettle, so two years all in all.In regards filling the kettle. The first time of using I took the lid off and filled, but found the lid fine, but a little sticky. I knew from trying to force the lid on and off, paint may chip, so decided to fill by the spout. The lid is fine, it’s just the newness of the lid, until it gets worn it. Spout filling is good, I love the shape of the spout, in fact the best I have seen and used. The spout is wide and fills cups and mugs very quickly. Again I wipe of water residue with a lint free cloth. The water taste, by this I mean when the kettle comes out of the box. All I did was fill up the kettle twice, boiled and emptied, then used. I have had no newness kettle taste at all.So all in all yes early days, but the kettle looks lovely in my kitchen, and now matches with my blue microwave in which I have had a while now.The lead is as long as you see in my images.I recommend the kettle, especially the light blue.⭐️ Thank you to the seller + Swan⭐️ I hope my review helps you.

Looks good in my kitchen if a little noisy. Did think it felt a little flimsy but boiled satisfactory.
