Best Rabbit Encyclopedia We Could Find
I borrowed this book from the library and liked it so much that we bought a copy. It is a very lovely little encyclopedia. It's written by a British fellow so it has a bit of a European slant (which we need to make accomodations for here in the States) but that's interesting in and of itself. He has good info about rabbits in general, and the photos are terrific. However, there are a few breeds that we have here that are left out (although it's only a FEW) and he recommends wood hutches which all of us who have kept rabbits know are just a BAD idea (they are very soon urine-soaked and stinky - metal cages in a small building of some type are much better, easier to clean, and healthier for the rabbits). But other than those 2 points this is an excellent book. I've referred to it repeatedly and highly recommend it.

Nice book for the pictures.
The photos are indeed very helpfull to identify the various breeds of bunnies. The book appears to have been written "across the pond", and therefore some of the text seems a bit strange.Example: Never have your rabbit near where food is stored or prepared. Always wash your hands after touching a rabbit and before touching food. (not exact quote) My bunny lives full time with the run of the kitchen, and is never caged except for trips to the vet. I have been known to share a bananna with my bunny: One bite for me - one bite for her... repeat until the bananna is gone. : )

Great Color Photos
This book has great color photos and covered all my questions regarding feed, housing and type of rabbits. I really like the way they indicated a Pro's and Con's of each bread. And also let me know what breads were not as available. This saved me time in research. Thanks!

Good book for someone that has never had rabbits.
Not bad but doesn't have a lot of info mostly just general information. I'very had rabbits for 20 yrs. so I was looking for information that I didn't already know. Good book for beginners.

Brilliant book for those starting out with their first bunny ...
Brilliant book for those starting out with their first bunny pet, or those who own and want to know more. It covers history of keeoing rabbits, care of them, illnesses and different breeds. The different breeds section is great, with large pictures and a handy guide on size, any problems with the breed, and most important of all, suitability of being a pet. Some breeds do better under expert care.

good little book
Difficult to get books on rabbit breeds but this is very informative. Shame it isn't a bigger book as the size makes it quite awkward to handle. Good value.
