Almost a year later and I LOVE IT!
So I decided to wait a while before posting a review. Almost a year later. I wanted to give it a real good work out and test.Welllllll let me tell you, this laptop is THE BEST I have ever owned! I play World of Warcraft and Everquest and I can box (run more than one account at the same time ) and not have ONE bit of lag. Graphics are smooth and sound is pretty darn good too! I have not had one issue what so ever. The only issue I have is the keyboard, but keep in mind, I went from a desk top to a laptop, but I solved that problem quickly, I got a wireless keyboard...lolMovie quality is beyond what I expected. It picks up new networks in a heartbeat! Never had disconnection issues.I take my laptop camping with us as well. Its light, and pretty durable. The battery life is decent too. Granted not a all night battery life, but it lasts a lot longer then I ever thought it would.I have been teleworking on and off this past year and again, no issues. This laptop just seems to keep getting better and better (Something Windows can take lessons on)I had a few questions and the seller was FAST to respond! (Must of been using the Acer Nirto as well..hehe)I am defiantly NOT disappointed and I think if you make the choice to get this one as, you wont be either! I let my son borrow it for a few days and he liked it so much, he got himself one a few months ago as well!I am WELL pleased!

Piece of garbage
This performed well for the first couple of months, so I bought a second one for an assistant. At about 100 days, the screen on the 2nd one stopped functioning and compressed itself to being barely readable. The first one, once you close the lid, it's about a 50/50 chance that when you open it again, bluetooth AND the wifi will not work. Bluetooth is disabled with no way to enable it. Reboot it 3 or 4 times and it works. It's out of warranty and I don't feel like messing with it again.Acer makes a good desktop, I have two of those. These laptops are just garbage. I expected better. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP.

NO BLOATWARE!!!
I use my computer for surfing the web, writing novels, desktop publishing, and a little bit of art using GIMP. Normally I buy the cheapest computer I can find that will get the job done. But what I've discovered is that cheap computers come full of bloatware and always inexplicably die within three weeks of the expiration of the warranty.THIS COMPUTER is on a different level entirely. I decided to stop buying bottom of the barrel, and got a computer with plenty of RAM, lots of power, and a SSD so that I could make the most of the art I do (which always pushed the limits of my prior computers) and so that I could do the desktop publishing without worrying that my computer would crash because I was asking it to do too much.Straight out of the box, this computer was FAST. I brought it in to work to use the fast internet available, but the wifi was down, so I used the data on my phone to set up the computer. I did end up using all the data I had (about 3.5 GB left for the month), but in about 15 minutes the computer was fully updated with the latest windows, and I'd downloaded MS Office 2016, GIMP, and Wondershare Filmora.I expected it to be full of bloatware, since they did not advertise it would be bloatware-free, but if there IS bloatware, I can't find it. I intended to eliminate all bloatware as my first step after it was updated, but there was no candy crush, nothing at all. It takes about 10 seconds to fully boot up, the screen is gorgeous, and it is really quiet. I expected it to be loud, to overheat, and for the battery life to be a joke. But since I did not buy this as a gaming computer, I guess it isn't going to seriously overheat or run out of battery super fast. The backlit keyboard is awesome. I would have loved an RGB keyboard, but the red is quite attractive. I don't really like that the delete key is placed funny on the keyboard, but I can live with that. The keys are also quiet, which to me is a downside, but I can live with that.I was able to open up a file in GIMP with about 400 layers in only a couple of seconds without having to worry about the computer crashing.I've only had it a few days, but if I have any issues, I will come back and update my review.

Good value for price, bad battery/overheating
Great laptop for the price. It's able to run games smoothly at 60fps with at least medium settings for most games. Also handles my music production software very well. Only cons I've experienced are with the battery/overheating issues. I've had this laptop for just shy of 2 years and I've noticed my laptop becoming almost too hot to touch while playing certain games that it used to be able to handle. I've also encountered a very frustrating issue where the battery will stop charging once it gets to around 93% and the charging light will either blink on and off, indicating it's plugged in but not charging, or the charger will keep switching on and off, which makes the keyboard light, computer screen and this annoying beep switch on and off over and over unless I do a battery reset. Once I do the battery reset then the charging light just blinks and doesn't actually charge. I've scoured forums and can't find any solutions.
