I initially bought plain (not coated) fish oil soft gels because they were considerably cheaper. However, I immediately discovered they made me burp with a fishy taste – yuck and no thank you! That’s good to know, as the FDA does not regulate supplements and sometimes you don’t know exactly what you’re getting. The fish oil in these supplements comes from Peru, and they are encapsulated and quality tested in the USA. The capsules are big, measuring just over an inch, but I do not have any problems swallowing them. This “value size” bottle of 200 soft gels is a more economical way to buy. Great fish oil capsules without the fishy belches.
