Used these to replace a number of lights around the house - we have a number of rooms with 6 or more bulbs, most of which are wall lights without shades so a nice looking traditional filament bulb and getting rid of the 40w per bulb halogens were a priority. These were a reasonable price and have a nice look to them so hopefully they will pay for themselves in energy savings fairly quickly if they last. As another reviewer has mentioned - there is a fairly big obvious CE mark printed on the glass but this is only on one side so you if you turn the bulb around so it is facing away from the main direction of view you don't really notice it. Wasn't enough to stop me buying another 3 boxes.

Great product bright and instant, would have been 5 star except 2 bulbs duff. Have returned those and await comment. Packaging was not damaged. Not sure how you measure " sheerness" of this product

I bought these for the last light fitting I have to change over from ordinary bulbs to LED ones. Our bedroom light takes three of these bayonet bulbs and had 40 watt bulbs there until one blew. These 4 watt LED ones give 40 watts of light, so the same amount for a lot less electricity. I have a lot of the SES type LEDs in other fittings and since installing them, have noticed a reduction in the overall cost of our electricity.. I am not getting any flickering, the warm white colour and the durability seems great. They are not meant for dimmable fittings, although my switches do not have a dim function. The functionality is good, although I can't comment on the lifespan at the moment, because they are new. Other such bulbs last at least a year though, so I expect these to do about the same. The current price is fair value for money, in my opinion, for a pack of six, well protected, bulbs. I don't know how long they will take to recoup the price via the reduction in electricity, however I am glad I have all LEDs now.

Lovely bright lights for my chandelier

Bought to replace CLF energy saving which I found to be ugly, dull and took to long to brighten . I found the Led 4w Good value for 12, have used the 4w bulbs for the toilet light, bedrooms and hallway, very pleased with the amount and quality of light provided, just to mention all my light shades are made of clear glass so if you have closed in darker shades the output will seem less coming through and you may need a higher wattage. Look so much nicer then the CLF type bulb. Don't know how long they will last as just put them in ,but for the money I would buy again

I’m all for getting good value for money but we all need to be convinced cheap bulbs are worth buying! I had to buy 14 LED bulbs for one room, to my disappointment they weren’t dimmable and on the packet it didn’t mention they weren’t.. so I had to buy another 14 and a better quality, for peace of mind, and they work fine. Please also look for the picture that shows the 2 contacts on the bottom of the bulb, my advice is don’t get round connectors as they don’t always connect the the pins in the socket!! always go for the oblong ones hope this helps..!

No problems, these bulbs appear to have proper bayonet fittings unlike "bumps" in the metal that some others have...

Though coming all the way from UK, delivered quickly and are good quality, bright and the chandelier has never looked better(I even cleaned every piece of glass)
