Very high quality.
I haven't written a review in a long time but this product is so well made that I decided to post a review. The slip fit joint between my resonator and my muffler developed a leak. At first I was tempted to use one of the repair wraps but then I saw these clamps. I really liked the idea of using a clamp like this to make the joint solid to eliminate movement at the joint that would cause the joint to fail. The male pipe had an OD of 2 1/4" and the female pipe had a 2 1/2" OD so I chose the clamp that was supposed to work with that setup. The illustration showed that I was ordering the correct one but I could see that the one I received was too small. No problem, though. I'll just keep it on hand. I ordered the next size up and it worked perfectly making a VERY solid joint. Before installing the clamp, I used an exhaust system sealant that I had to let dry for 24 hours. The clamp fit perfectly over the joint. But what I most want to say is that the quality of this clamp is very high. You know how well-made it is a soon as you pick it up. Now, I know the company is based in the U.S. but I'm not sure if the clamp is made in the U.S. But, no matter where it was made, it's of extremely high quality. In fact, when I received it and held it in my hands, it reminded me of the high-quality products that were made in the U.S. in the past. On top of that, it cost substantially less than coated aluminum clamps of similar design on Amazon that have bad ratings. It's refreshing to see high-quality parts these days.

Saved me the cost of a new exhaust system
I thought I would finally be shelling out hundreds for a whole new exhaust for my '01 Grand Prix. After trying adapters, reducers, and then a cheaply-made, short, thin-gauge repair sleeve (which cost about the same as this clamp band, and kept slipping off!), I almost gave up. None of the auto parts stores--and I live in a major city--even the big chains, had the TOTALFLOW. I used this to bring the resonator and pipe together that had rotted apart. The exhaust is quiet once again, and the repair is solid. This part was relatively easy to install, and has saved me a substantial amount of money and hassle. I also purchased the 2-inch version, which I didn't use for this job, but may need someday for this car or for another.

Pipe and muffler sizing is important
Product worked good. I had problems getting it to fit mu muffler, because the muffler (Cherry Bomb) was about a 1/16 oversize. In the end, I was able to get a round of pipe wrap between the exaust pipe and the inside of the muffler. The clamp did not quite close, but is holding everything rigid. One clamp did get crushed in shipping but was able to straighten and use. The clamp worked as it was intended.

Works well
I used this for a muffler to tailpipe connection. I like band clamps better. They evenly clamp down on the pipe.

Worked great
Maybe not as good as the brand name, but I used 14 of these on my new exhaust system, including a H-pipe. They look and function just fine. No leaks, none broke. Saved a lot of money and can fully disassemble the system if/when I need to.

Perfect alternative to u-clamps
These clamps are the best! I recently installed a stainless steel exhaust system on my Titan that came with u-clamps. After snapping three of them in the process, I ordered a different brand of u-clamps. After torquing them down as hard as I could, the pipe still moved. So I took a chance on these band clamps. Wrenched them down as tight as tight can be with no snapping or stripping of the bolts and the pipes don’t move. Very impressed with the quality. Well worth the money.

It's stainless steel, wear gloves
This thing worked perfectly. Couldn't get a standard clamp to hold my rusted turd mobile together. I had several cut areas where I cut the exhaust to replace my muffler and the standard clamps would allow the pipe to slip out. This this is holding it in place perfectly. Only thing to remember is that it is stainless steel. In my case i had to put a lot of pressure on it to close it and I didn't wear gloves. Couldn't feel it slipping into my skin until I wiped what i thought was oil onto my pants.

Not the Greatest Quality
Bolts are steel and wedges are aluminum.....Will corrode before clamp does....Otherwise it fits
