Excellent thick well made exactly what I was looking for

I have a 30x40 metal shop building that only had bubble rap type insulation. It was unbearable to be in during summer months. The heat radianting through the roof was insane. I purchased this product to help combat it. OMG what a difference. Each time I put up a section up I could feal a difference. My shop now feels amazing to be in on 90+ degree days. With the A/c running before it was only cool if standing in the path of air flow. Now the whole shop stays cool. Product easy to work with. Light weight but stong. Very happy with it. I also bought an air stapler to install.

PRODUCT IS STRONG AND DURABLE...

We are in the process of installing this product in the attic of our home in FL. We only have the attached garage done so far, and plan to do the entire attic. It's easier with two people to hold the pieces in place and staple them on the bottom side of the rafters leaving an air space from the soffit to the ridge vent for the heat to escape. It looks like perforated heavy duty tin foil with fiber running through it so it does not tear easily. The temperature does feel lower when I am under it vs. when I'm just under the roof decking. We won't know the full impact, if any, until we get the entire attic done. We can only work up there a few hours in the morning before it gets too hot outside, so it's going to take us awhile.

Excellent material, very cut and tear resistant, yet cuts very easily. Its thick and very easy to work with. 4 stars only because I dont know how much heat this cuts down on, but it seems significant enough to merit its cost and extra work on top of insulating. A surface without this is not nearly as hot as with this, and I suspect this is because the material catches and repels the heat rather than absorb and radiate it out.

Started installing in my attic and almost immediately the temperature under the radiant barrier was noticeably cooler than the floor space that was not underneath it. I’m almost finished with the install now and the temperature has gone down by an estimated 10-15 degrees.Easy to install and clearly works! Worth installing.

Put this up hoping to keep the garage cool. I still need to add regular insulation but this did lower the temps in the garage between 10-15 degrees on our hottest days so far this summer. Does not tear easily.
