1979 Book of Common Prayer Vivella Edition: Red

I love this book if you feel like you don’t know how to pray this book is an excellent way to learn if you feel like you are already a very efficient prayer warrior. This book will still help you. It’s really well written and been around for years hundreds of years

This BCP is WONDERFUL! I was a little worried when I first ordered it because there were no reviews yet on Amazon when I purchased it. However, I am so glad I made this purchase, and I will probably buy another one as a gift. This is a beautiful edition that I will treasure for years to come. The cover is very soft, and the pages are thin. This is also the perfect size; not too large or too small. Great purchase!

It really helps that it has a softcover and looks like a bible. A hardcover edition didn't get through. The paperback edition didn't get through. This one did work! When, I heard back over the telephone, he said it is a little confusing but very enjoyable. So, that's how I heard a very concise and suitable review of the BCP from one who had never used it before. After a few weeks, I received another phone call, this time considerably more chipper and well sorted. The attractiveness and portability does yield a good boost to the BCP by making it nicer to use.

This is the same edition I purchased before. Durable cover, easy to read print. Using it for private devotions at home. The easy structure of the Daily Office (including the less formal varieties) make it invaluable. Thank you.

This book is the right size for travel. It provides a handy on-the-go reference for prayer. If you're looking for a prayer book, just bear in mind that while this book has a famous historical name, it contains much more than just prayers. It lays out almost every liturgical event in the Episcopalian church. It's definitely a handy pocket reference, but not anything to write home about.

Pretty volume BUT print is very small, too small to read comfortably. Honestly - print book sellers should include a sample page to avoid this.

This book is badly constructed. The pages keep falling out. Of course the content is great, but having pages fallout is less than ideal.

Unfortunately I returned this pretty little prayer book. You would need a magnifying glass to read it. Very tiny print. Too bad but true

I bought this prayer book, and was delighted to find it surpassed my highest expectations. I would like to buy it again, simply because I gave it as a present to a friend in spiritual need.
