Stellar James Martin Non-Stick 8" Round Fluted Flan Tin, Loose Base, High Grade Steel, Dishwasher Safe 20cm x 3cm

I am amazed at how good this flan tin is to use. I followed the instructions to season the tin and have now used it regularly with no problems of pastry sticking to the tin if the fruit contents burst and flow onto the tin. The flan / pie is still easy to remove leaving a tin that only needs a quick wash in warm soapy water. Looking to add to my collection.

Seemed a good quality item couldnt wait to try it out only to be very disappointed.Definitely not suitable for using flan mixes as mixture ran from the tin even before i got in the oven. Ended up having a mess to clean up from work bench floor and more annoying baked on mix from the oven!!.Maybe if it was used for a thicker sponge consistency cake mix might work better but after being disappointed I've not tried it.

This is sold as an 8 inch (20xm) dish and on the label (see photo) it states that the internal deimension is 8 inches. however, as can be seen in the photo the internal dimension at the widest point is more like 7.3 inches and at the base of the dish is actually 6.8 inches. The weight of the dish is given as 80g but it is actually 480g.

Tried this out yesterday while baking.I baked a quiche and it just lifted out with the push up bottom.excellent quality, well worth the price.

Never had it so easy to remove a flan from the dish. Will not go back to using my old ones. Just wish they made them in a 12inch.

Very small, should have checked the size - the product itself is good quality but I’m a bit disappointed by the dimensions.
