Our family have always been big game players. Doesn't matter if it's a board game or video game. We like them all. However, lately we've see the "family" disconnect from each other. Just as soon as dinner is done everyone is either on their phones or devices. We needed a change and we needed it now!I did some looking around and sure, there's tons of games out there. When it comes to a game that is designed to bring us back together as a family there just wasn't anything out there. Until I came across Vertellis! I read the reviews and I found them on Facebook! The games were just what we were looking for/needed!Last night the kids (ages - 13,21,25 and 30) came over and we had a fantastic night! No phones, no computers and no game systems! Just us getting together and becoming closer as a family (again)!!!I want to also add - The package came right away and I really like the size of the boxes (I got all 3 games). Unlike other games, these games pack easy and we can take them anywhere! We love to camp and I can see the games going with us so we can play them around the campfire! S'MORES and Vertellis!Thank you Vertellis for such a great idea!

The questions were good, but the game was over priced for the number of questions provided

Our large family is spread out over the country. We come together at Thanksgiving every year and games are always a big part of what we do. That and reminiscing about all the old family stories. There is a disconnect that happens when you lose your parents, so this coming together is important. I bought this game for us to play this year. It was a huge hit. It fit right in to who we are. The questions are great. We laughed a lot, shared a lot and it reached to the best part of who we are. We all loved the game and have only one suggestion...there needs to be filler packs made available with more questions. Family members from 7 to 62 were easily able to play this together.

These questions, in a simple format, provided my husband and me stimulating conversations at the end of a meal. We were able to "play" several rounds before giving it our seal of approval and preparing it as a gift for our friends with children. I know that it will provide them with thoughtful conversation and help redirect recreational time from "screens" to family interactions.

I don’t write many product review but this one deserves special attention. When I first introduced it everyone groaned - “oh god another one of those soul baring share out stupid family games. Booooring. We wanna play Cards Against Humanity “. Nope, I said. It’s my house and we’re playing this first. Sorry. After 90 minutes of thoughtful responses. Engaged conversation. Inquiring into one another’s responses. A few tears. Laughter. Respectful silent pauses. Even surprise answers from my sister who I’ve known for over 60 years. We had 4 generations playing it together and no one wanted to quit or disengage. All commented how interesting and fun it was. Even my 11 yo daughter who rolls her eyes at anything that might have some depth. Note: we chucked the rules and just asked the ?s from decks 1 and 3. Let people choose a different card if they don’t like the one they drew. And don’t let the nay sayers shut you down. We’re all seeking connections and understanding.

DO NOT BUY THIS ! The questions are repetitive with suggestions like having "the person two chairs away" answer. I kept going from card to card to come up with something appropriate. You could simply have each person in your family or group write a question, statement, or opinion on four 3x5 cards to come up with better, more pertinent interactions. If there are 5 people, you would end up having 20 personalized cards and easily add more as you like. This product (and the companion versions) are NOT worth the price. AVOID this mistake.

I liked that this is a game that doesn't require technology or even electricity. It's such a simple concept but a great way to actually talk to each other. I'm a chatterbox but my family isn't, so this is helpful to get responses other than "okay" or "I'm good". It's small so it would be good for travel and a great stocking stuffer.
