Out of 5 pieces, 2 have serious manufacturer's defects
I purchased this set for my daughter, who lives out of state. The gift was sent directly to her. When she opened the box, she found that two pieces, the frying pan and a lid, had been damaged in production. As shown in the photos, the fry pan lining has bubbling and the lid has discoloration on the edge. These items are too expensive to have been made so cheaply and to have them pass inspection is inexcusable.My daughter has contacted both Amazon and Mauviel about getting replacements. I hope she won't have to box everything up and return it all as that would be such a hassle. I was so excited about getting this gift for her and to have these pieces arrive damaged is heartbreaking. I will certainly never buy Mauviel again.I will amend my review if Amazon or Mauviel makes good on replacements without causing my daughter any inconvenience.
