A detailed and attractive model without the fuss
Very nice, well detailed and proportioned model of the infamous ocean liner. I wanted a good sized and effective display piece for my living room without having to glue together and paint lots of fiddly parts or spend a fortune on a ready built model. This one fit the bill perfectly and is big enough to be able to incorporate a good level of detail. It took me (a lapsed Airfix modeller from 30-odd years back, easing myself back into the hobby gently) around 2.5 hours to put it together on the kitchen table. Some of the pieces were quite solidly attached to the sprue so a decent craft knife is essential.

Fiddly and some parts fragile
The ship was very difficult and fiddly to assemble but the end product was great and realistic. Requires no glue or paint (painting is optional) some of the parts snapped or didn’t come out properly in the spur (e.g the rigging on the mast, the mast, the anchor crane and the 4 bladed central propellor) but the end product was great and it is good

Perfect for my 12 year old son!
Bought this for my 12 year old son who is obsessed with titanic! I was worried it would be too hard for him but he proved me wrong and built it within 5 hours! Some parts very very small but he just used my tweezers and the model was perfect! Would highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t built a model before and loves titanic!

Very disapointing
This was bought as a present for a 10 year old (it is advertised as for 10 years and older). It is fiendishly difficult with multiple very small and fragile parts. Many connections do not fit and the fragile parts break in the process. It would require an unsually dextrous 10 year old to put it together - his grandparetns have now given up trying to help and it is in the bin.I think this is mis-sold as being suitable for children of that age (and I suspect much older). It only has even one star because zero stars are not possible.Don't buy it.

Titanic
Although it would appear to be a click together kit I found that it was advisable to use adhesive in places and it was necessary to scrape or sand some of the connections. However, when finished, I was left with a sturdy and very attractive model.

Disappointed
The small parts are very fragile. Not everything click properly and definitely needs a glue. The instructions are easy to follow but the plastic is not strong enough. I don't think that 10 years old could build this. I wouldn't buying it again.

Really excellent.
Excellent model. I wanted a Liner model for the centrepiece of aNew Years Eve Dinner themed on the great liners of the past, and this really fills the bill. Not too difficult to make but remember once you have cut out a piece that it can blow away in a draught!

Looks good
I actually returned this as it was too advanced fro my grandson. However it looks good and might purchase it again in 4 years time if he is into building models.
