HP OfficeJet Pro X576dw Office Printer with Wireless Network Printing, Remote Fleet Management & Fast Printing, HP Instant Ink or Amazon Dash Replenishment Ready (CN598A)

I have had at least a dozen various laser, color laser, inkjet and multi function printers over decades and this printer is hands down the best I have ever owned. Here is why: (1) It is VERY VERY fast - it prints color and black and white at the default resolution extremely fast in terms of pages per minute. It is as fast as the $10,000 color copiers and $2000 laser printers in my office. Even at maximum color resolution it is quick. (2) The INK cartridges LAST FOREVER - I can typically print 10,000+ pages before I have to replace a cartridge - (20 reams of paper) (3) The scanning is flawless on multiple operating systems (4) You can print on multiple media - it prints well on cardstock, envelopes, stickers, heavy photo paper AND it has two paper sources so you can fill one tray with LEGAL size paper and the other with regular size paper - plus the main tray holds at least a full ream of paper. The paper auto feeder works flawlessly for scanning or copying multiple page documents at once AND it is fast - I have never had a problem with it (5) Full duplex (2-sided) capability works and IT IS FAST - it also works for making booklets that fold in half and can be stapled (5) it is RELIABLE - I have had many hp printers disappoint with print head failures or scanner problems BUT in 6 YEARS - NOT A SINGLE ISSUE EVER. The only notes I would give are that for printing photos - adjust the contrast and saturation to be higher than you think and also the printer is pretty large so be sure you are ok with the dimensions. I am posting this review even though the printer is a few years old in the hope that it will help someone when looking at the newer version of this printer.

Where do I start? Such a great product, easy setup, and feature packed. I had always wanted a printer that would print wirelessly from all my Apple devices including iPhones and iPads. So when our old WiFi Color Laser printer (a different brand) started breaking down frequently it was time to make a switch. Also worth noting, our OLD printer was a nightmare to set up for scanning and wireless printing. We had to make settings on both ends for the computers and the printer to "handshake" (essentially be able to see each other) which took hours and required calls to the help desk. With this printer it was literally minutes and we were up and running. Why? - because any device that is logged into the same WiFi as the printer is automatically connected to the printer and "sees" the printer in print settings. This includes wireless phones, tablets, etc. Just plug it in, follow a sequence of questions on the big gorgeous color LCD control panel, and you are in business. This whole process literally took about 5 minutes. After using it for a few months now I'm impressed with the quality of the printing, speed, 2-sided performance, scanning, faxing, color quality - ALL are excellent. Also this printer is large but not huge and not too heavy. The cartridges are a new style, very compact and help reduce the printer footprint making excellent use of office space and the LCD screen replaces the mechanical chicklet buttons on older printers with an intuitive touch screen that didn't take a "graduate degree" to operate. I couldn't be more satisfied at the ease of use of this printer. I highly recommend you cease your research and buy this item.

I really like this printer. The design looks great, it functions well, the touch display is easy to use, the ink wells are huge, the printer was easy to set up (although it did have some errors and froze the first time), and it does decent photo printing too. It also prints pages very quickly. I print between 1,000 - 3,000 pages a month.The negatives: The pinter tray can't take anything larger than 8.5" x 11". I can't load legal paper. The side tray can take legal size paper but can only hold about 10-15 sheets of paper at a time, and sticks way out using up a lot of desk space. I've been having numerous network problems with the printer. I can't determine if the problem is with the Mac, or with the printer. It worked great for about 2 weeks, now every single time I try to print the computer says the printer is offline. I have to go to the printer's touch screen and disconnect from wifi and reconnection, then it suddenly is back online and will print. If the printer runs out of paper, has a jam, or otherwise does anything to create a notification it disconnects from the network. The printer needs better connectivity software. My last complaint is that the paper comes out "printed side down" so if you print something that's heavy on ink, the ink will smear all over the base of the tray. When I print a photo I have to "catch" the paper as it comes out so that it doesn't smear along the tray where the paper sits after being printed. It's also very loud when it prints.... clangs and clicks and bangs. Also, it randomly will make clangs, bangs, and clatter when not in use or has not been in use for hours or maybe even at all that day. Occasionally, it will start making odd loud sounds in the middle of the night, and I have no idea why.

We are very happy. Much better than smaller models that every time you're in a rush to print something, gives you the message «cleaning heads, may take several minutes».Also very fast.We love it.Ink is very expensive, but this is how HP makes money. Almost the same price of the printer for a set of 4 cartridges. Also ink can be as much as 42% more expensive in Canada compare to the US, as HP fixes a higher price in Canada by preventing US resellers to ship to Canada. Very annoying.

HP a du ma la changer 2 fois, j en suis a ma troisieme en moins de six mois. toujours des problemes avec l approvisionnement en papier????
