Good quality, could use some minor changes
The height of the short letters is 7/16 inches. So the full height of uppercase letters would be 7/8 inches. I could not find this information easily so I thought I should post it for teachers that already have primary lined paper at school. I have 1inch and 1/2 inch lined paper so this works okay with the 1inch. The tall lowercase letters, like l and k, are not the full 7/8 inch so it may seem shorter. I like that the box is labeled with each letter to make putting this away easier but I wish the letters were bigger. When the tray is right under your nose they are legible but if kids are sharing it will be hard for some to see the tiny letter a. Quality looks on par with bigger name brands. The stamp itself is rubber, which awesome. This means that the rubber is injected into the plastic instead of glued like the foam ones. These also clean pretty easy which is great when you have different colored stamp pads. The rubber part is hard so it's easy for the lids to keep the paper neat and avoid the square box around each letter. We have foam letter stamps too, but when you press on them the circle around each letter shows everytime which makes reading harder later on. Overall, I am pretty happy with these and hope they last awhile. I also bought the uppercase set which is being delivered today.

Fun and Educational Product
This is such a great product. I bought this for my 4-year-old niece. She is learning to spell and she love arts and crafts. She loves them to use these and her parents love them because it shows her the correct placement of letters on kindergarten paper. I am also a special education teacher and can't wait to oder some for my classroom. I have worked with a few students who struggle with the fine motor skill of writing and it is holding them back in learning to spell. This would definitely help! It is unlike anything I have ever seen: they are clear so the students work on correct spacing, the rubber is only on the letter so there is no ink box around the letter, and punctuation marks (period, comma, question mark, and exclamation mark) are included for sentence creation.

Great for kindergarten!
These stamps are great compared to the stamps that are not clear! It is very difficult for my kindergarteners to stamp where they are trying to when they can't see the letters. This makes it much easier for them. The box is not very strong though and was broken after only a few uses. Of course there are other storage solutions for this.

Great letter stamps
I bought these stamps to use for memory keeping/scrapbooking. For whatever reason, it is hard to find reasonably priced simple alphabet stamps in the scrapbooking category. These stamps are great and easy to use. The surface of the stamps (the part that gets inked and touches the paper) isn't consistently smooth. There are a few stamps that have indents in the surface which are then transferred to the inked image. This 'issue' doesn't bother me, because I think it adds a little character to my stamped images. If you are looking for 'perfect' stamps, this might not be the set for you. Otherwise they are great and easy to use!

Great for card making
I bought these for my homemade cards. When I just need a single word or some letters on the front, these are perfect. It's easy to see where they're being placed on the paper. The rubber stamp part holds ink just fine. If not inked well, the letters won't be completely filled in giving it little bit of a distressed look to it, which looks great on cards giving the stamped letters a little more character. I was debating on these verses the Jumbo version. The Jumbo version, for me, seems to be a little too large for what I like. This size was perfect for my purposes.

Great set- couple of flaws...
I am a first grade teacher and bought these for my kiddos to use for practicing spelling words. They are easy to handle and stamp well. They have held up well to a year of use. My frustration came, though, after my students used the stamps the first time. I chose a purple ink because 1- purple is fun and 2- it was on sale. The purple ink made the "see-through" part of the stamps completely unusable. It is hard to figure out the letters by looking at them- they are backwards- so I tried to use a permanent marker on the little "handle" part so the kids could easily figure out which stamp was which letter. The marker rubbed off in about 3 uses. So I had to use a white circle sticker (dot label) and re-label each letter. The other frustration is that the little boxes the stamps are supposed to fit in are made for each stamp. So the 'm' won't fit in the 'j' spot. I understand why- but if you can't tell what letter the stamp is, how are you supposed to keep them in order?? There is a TINY letter at the bottom of each box, but the ink covered it up very quickly. Great stamps- needs some work on functionality. Especially if they are to be used by young children.

Great for the classroom
These are great. My students use them to spell out their spelling words for fun. I like that they are clear because the kids know what letter it is without having to flip them all over.

Exactly as described great quality at a fraction of the price educational stores are offering. The case it comes in is even labelled with the letters so it comes in a storage case!
