The best, but not cheap.
This isn’t cheap, but it covers so many nutritional needs for your bird that I will buy this despite the cost. This supplement seems to be all around good for the birds! I noticed my birds health improved when I used this supplement compared to any of the many other supplements I have used for my birds. It smells good too, where most stink, and the birds seem to like it and don’t turn up their noses when I use it. I don’t even use the full amount recommended, and I still see a change for the better in them, especially in the constitutionally weaker birds.

Using for 23 years for my parrots - they love it and are healthy and happy.
My vet first recommended this 23 years ago. It smells and tastes like apricots. My parrots love it. I sprinkle it in their wet porridge and still spoon feed them to make sure they get it and it doesn't get wasted. They are very happy and healthy. Other bird vitamins don't smell or taste good. __ The manufacturer has changed packaging and it's now 320 g rather than 400 g. I usually buy small 6- grams which last me over 2 -3 months. They are out of stock everywhere. It is less expensive to buy the big container though. I hope they are just changing packaging and the smaller one is available soon.. Either way, I highly recommend it.

Hari Needs to Offer another Size Option
So I've always used this product with my parakeet because he doesn't eat much pellet food and I haven't been able to convert him sufficiently away from seed. He's seven years old. In November last year he became very sick with Avian Gastric Yeast symptoms (or Canker). I took him to two avian vets but no cause was identified by crop and fecal swab. He was treated with antibiotic and antifungal. As a precaution I also ended up treating him for Canker, given that they can cause similar symptoms. As of January 2025, he was back to his old self — until November 2025 when the same symptoms appeared (eating but going light accompanied by crop symptoms like regurgitation and vomiting). I normally buy the large size Prime powder and add the recommended small bird dose to my budgie's 8 oz water dish. I think part of the problem is that it takes a tremendous amount of time to go through the 11 oz quantity. Essentially I end up replacing it every year before it has run out. The product looks and smells OK — I keep it in the refrigerator after opening — and it's not caked or yellowed, either. However, something did not sit right with the timing of my bird's illness — right around the same time it was time to order a replacement. Consequently, now I am forced to consider that the product safety deteriorated despite only ever using the included scoop. (Alternately, perhaps it spoils sitting in the water dish even though fresh solution is made each day?) All I know is that according to my Amazon history I am buying my replacement Prime powder in December each year, right after the symptoms appeared two years in a row. I expect my bird is so sick he won't make it, then he makes a miraculous recovery sometime after the product is replaced in mid December. The price has jumped significantly in the past month so I decided to switch to Nekton-S multivitamin and probiotic products. I still believe this is a very good product overall but it probably shouldn't be left in your bird's cage all day even if the bird is not one to soil their water dish, and it's unclear if refrigeration is sufficient to maintain safety. The next size down from the 11 oz is only 1 oz. Given that the price has increased, this is one product where I would welcome some "shrinkflation" on the part of Hari. Why not offer a 6 oz size or even a 3 oz size to ensure that bird owners who have small birds and aren't breeding birds in large aviary settings don't end up keeping this beyond when it is safe simply by virtue of not wanting to throw away so much product given the cost? In closing, I will update my review if my bird makes another spontaneous "recovery".

Inefficient - Worst Supplement
Worst supplement I’ve used for my birds so far. ½ a gram per extra small parrot (budgie) is the dose! The Birdcare Company supplements I usually use (but were out of stock) are 1g per kg of weight = 36 budgies! Similar price for the amount of powder but TBC is 18x more efficient! This Hari product also has a strong fruit flavor. In tiny amounts this shouldn’t matter, but at the high volume of vitamin powder per amount of food my budgies eat the flavor becomes overpowering (I actually tasted it) and they won’t even eat it. And I can’t return it either. Even if my birds would eat it, this amount of vitamins wouldn’t last long at such a high serving size per day. Lastly, they enclose the serving instructions and spoon in a plastic bag INSIDE the container full of powder. What a mess opening that up! I am extremely disappointed in EVERY product I have tried from Hari - only exception being their mineral blocks - and this is the last product I will ever buy from them. I have tried their pellets (birds ate them but disliked them more than every other pellet I have tried, which is many…), their plain seed mix which *should* be wonderful for sprouting per the ingredients list - but FULL of dust and unknown seeds not listed on the ingredients list and had a funky smell, (looked like warehouse floor sweepings and even the replacement bag they sent me was like this), their calcium blocks (decent but should double check if it has iodine and other minerals in it), and now this supplement powder which is a total rip off even if it were palatable. Some people swear by this company so I kept trying because they also *appear* to be more affordable than the other higher end brands like Harrison’s and Roudybush and TOPs, and the supplement specifically was more affordable than morning bird and vetafarm doesn’t make a decent one yet for daily vitamins. But they are nowhere near the same level of quality imo. Ok rant over. I’m more mad at myself for trying yet another one of their products because the brand I usually buy was out of stock… :(
