Arm & Hammer Pooper Scooper Claw Scoop Dog Poop Scooper for Yard Pet Waste Management System

I never thought I'd get excited about a "pooper scooper", but I just moved from a 6-acre property to a small apartment with tiny yard/fake grass. I have 2 larger dogs that apparently poop a lot. After 2 weeks cleaning it up several times per day, I decided to buy this scooper. It actually works great! Both the bin and plastic rake are very sturdy despite being plastic, and they have long handles. Instead of bending down and essentially putting my face way closer than I'd like to the lovely stuff, I can stand, push/scoop it into the bin, and toss the bag in the trash. I guess you can tell I need a hobby! Anyway, I'd highly recommend.

I am ordering my second one of these today after 4 years (and a few days) later. The old one is duct taped on the handle but still works, but the bucket is getting loose. Now, why still five stars? I have had this thing outside in Florida sun for 4 years!!! And i have st Augustine grass which is dense and makes it difficult to "slide" the poop into the bucket sometimes. So simply using the rake as a scoop rather than a rake works wonderfully. A million times better than the claw type which don't last and leave pieces of poop behind and also requires a separate bucket. Essential doggy product in my world. I clean up after my 30 lb mutt and also my son's 65 lb pitty and 100+ lb rotty when they visit. I also use grocery bags which I think is great re-use of plastic bags.

We love this pooper scooper. Easy to use and gets the job done. The bags are easy to replace, and the design keeps you clean.We only had one issue with our rake handle breaking on our older one. But at that price, we just ordered a new set.

I'm amending this review to indicate that it does work well with grocery bags. There are two plastic hooks at the bottom of the bucket that the handles fit onto after putting the bag in the bucket. This keeps the bags in place and prevents it from moving while depositing the poop. This means you don't have to but their bags and can recycle the grocery bags. I love this product.I used a cat scooper designed for litter boxes before this. More like a spoon than a fork. This product does exactly what I need and glides well through bermuda lawns. I use grocery bags in place of the ones designed for this bucket. They don't work as well because you need a way to secure the handles but they do work. I wish they had taken this into consideration in the design to make grocery bags more compatible. This last thing we need is to buy plastic bags.

Why did I wait so long to buy something like this? Amazing product and my back is so pleased not having to stoop over constantly! I clear the yard in quick time and little effort. Found a great way to recycle those grocery store bags, pop them on using the handles over the handy built in hooks in the side. Once you get the hang of it you will save money too! Easily remove the used bag, tie the top off and toss. A chore has become no big deal! With four dogs this tool is a game changer!

Does the job and feels cheap. I previously had the metal rake but broke, had for years. This was cheaper. The rake flimsy and wish the basket was a little bigger. Over all gets the job done. Wish rake was sturdier.

Got this because my dog poop grabber kept breaking so i thought i would try something different. This product came fast and nicely packaged and it was very easy to put together, the only thing i was bummed about was it only came with 2 poop bags. But i can always buy more.
