Great bargain
They had a great deal on this with a couple scratches on it, not like it won't get scratched up, and I saved almost $300 over the best price at etrailer.

Worked well for my set up only down fall is the weight of the piece getting it in and out is not easy but I guess that's expected when it has to be strong

Well built but fit is a bit of a challenge
First off it is a well built adapter but it took some time to get it installed. The locking pins on my gooseneck receiver (curt double locking) would not engage with it in (I do not have a bed liner). I finally got it to engage a little bit by putting the weight of the 5th wheel on the hitch however it would not fully engage so I drove around my property and it finally engaged completely. It is starting to engage easier, now as soon as I put the weight of the 5th wheel on it it the pins snaps in. To get it out I have to pop it up with 2 crowbars and then I can pick it up by hand. It is a little bit of a hassle but no rails permanently in my bed is worth it to me.

Make sure the hitch is all the way against the bed
Very hard to install. May have just been the truck hitch itself but had a very hard time getting it to latch. I had to Loosen hardware for the hitch that bolts to the frame and make sure was as high against the bed it could go.

Did not go in very well. Had to have the entire weight of 5th wheel on it to release pin.

didn't think the goose neck kingpin adapter was a good idea, went with this
I've owned it for about two years. Bought a truck with a goose neck, didn't think the goose neck kingpin adapter was a good idea, went with this. Really heavy (no kidding), you can install by yourself, but easier with help to get it into the truck. No problems pulling. Best thing is when I'm done, rails come out, and I have a truck bed again. I keep it stored in garage when not in use. Use a furniture dolly to sit it on and move around back and forth to truck for install. Keep the plate, and hitch on the dolly. Just take it all out of the truck, reassemble on the dolly, and put it in the garage under the workbench.
