I've had this installed for a month or so now and I am getting used to how it all works.I think there are a few reviews about the difficulty of installing the camera. I watched a couple of online tutorials and found it to be relatively straightforward if you have a bit of DIY ability. I did however need a fuse piggyback holder for one of the connections as I didn't have a spare constant power slot so had to take it from an existing fuse position and use the piggyback to keep the existing fuse working properly.Once installed, and powered up, I downloaded the app and registered the device using the number on the base of the camera, it all seemed to work straight away with no issues. I used a gift gaff SIM card with 3gb of data. I've accessed the remote camera a few times and downloaded some short videos and I've used about 1gig in a month, so maybe next time I will download 10gig for the year. Of course it will last longer if I don't keep accessing the camera from the app remotely.The camera works well with a clear picture, it's easy to download videos from the app when connected via Wifi and the tracking and trips recall feature is good. I've had difficulty getting the geofence to work so might have to contact the manufacturer.All in all, it's a fairly good product and does more than a standard camera as it can track the vehicle and also contact you when the vehicle is knocked or turned on which is a bonus. The remote video is a good feature and you can actually talk to the person inside remotely which could possibly be useful. It needs a bit of refining but Is pretty good for the price compared to what else is available out there and the features it gives you for the money. I'm not convinced of the quality of the picture at night time but it's probably good enough to cover a crash to help with proving blame.

Couldn’t work out how to connect it to power source as there was no instructions, had to return

The price is perfect for the amazing quality I received. First class packaging and not to mention the very professional support from the seller.I have a fleet of service vans and can now track exactly where they are all at the same time. When / where they stop. For how long. was it at a client. will record the slightest bump so as to see if damage is driver related or not.i can see where they going 'live' and look into the cabin. I can listen to there conversation and speak to them via the devise. The devise too serves as a hot-spot so my technician always can communicate with the office with email and whats app. My fleet has become much more productive, less fuel costs and less scratches and bumps.i will order more units for my private vehicles as well.After easy installation, I started it up the unit, but unfortunately could not connect to my mobile network (Tanzania). They answered every email and tried to troubleshoot on whatsapp. Eventually they sent me a usb cable on their costs so as to connect the unit to my laptop, and with online support they solved my problem. Unit works perfect and I will order more. I fully recommend the seller 100%

It's the first (or one of the first) 3G/4G dashcams for consumer use, which is great... but being first also means learning curve. The Car-Matrix phone app has more features than the Car-Matrix website necessarily supports. Website features are model specific - so read the Amazon product features page very carefully. Good news is that Amacam UK's customer service is EXCELLENT - they respond knowledgeably and promptly to questions.

This is my first dash cam with 3G and installation was easy, app works great, I did have a few questions during setup and also a faulty SD card, but AMACAM support were amazing and refunded me the cost of the replacement SD card, not only a great product but the support is first class thank you AMACAM ( Sophie)

Quick and easy delivery, came well packaged and was exactly what I was looking for the packaging gave me the impression that this brand pays attention to detail. We had a slight issue with the fitting, but Amacam support were quick to respond and solved the problem immediately. I especially like the fact that this camera will work in a stealth way should my car ever be stolen. The interior camera is very inconspicuous and the thief would not even realise they were on camera and being tracked at the same time. I think all cars should have one, this might result in fewer cars being stolen or vandalised. An all-round great product and no complaints.
