I've assembled about a dozen nooks from various suppliers. This was the highest quality yet. The pieces came apart well, the wood didn't splinter, and every piece fit precisely. Accessories included a 10 ml tube of B-7000 glue, tweezers, sanding pad, a small hammer, and a tiny screwdriver. The instructions are in B&W, and not always easy to follow, but good enough. Includes a battery-powered, working clock mechanism, a motor-driven rotating turret, and accompanying music. It's a beautiful piece, but probably a dust collector long-term. Will look for a small display case. A very impressive kit.

The kit is very well made. Sturdy. Pieces fit together well. I had some trouble with some of the snap in pieces coming out as I put pressure applying another part. I suppose I could have glued the joints to prevent that. It is important to make sure the tabs are all the way in. I had difficulty getting the tower to fully slide into place, but it finally did. There are many tiny parts to place on the inner shelves. I found some of them to be too cluttered, and chose to leave one or two of them off. The project took way, way longer than stated. The instructions were very clear and well written, easy to follow. It is a tedious process at times, but working on it for a short time each setting, I found very relaxing. The finished product is awesome! I love the inside lights, and moving parts. I think it would be very hard for someone with large fingers.

I have done a few of these kits and this is BY FAR!! the best made, best instructions, best electronics... it even has SEVERAL extra pieces in case something breaks. Its gorgeous and a delight to put together.

This is a beauty and the music sounds great. Enjoyed the process and everything worked as it should. I left the weird plastic things off the top and wish I'd not placed the one near the telescope. They are just odd looking. Other than that, a great build.

Perfect fit. Easy construction if you pay close attention to instruction. Would be easier if instructions were photos in color.
