Q: What is the difference between 10+ and 50+ honey?

There are two different parameters for Manuka Honey: MGO gives the amount of Methylglyoxal in the honey, so MGO 100+ says at least 100mg of Methylglyoxal per kg honey. UMF is the Unique Manuka Factor, sounds a bit weird and makes things a bit more complicated but the goal is to have a certified honey you can trust a bit more. For example, UMF 10+ equals MGO 250+. As UMF rating starts with 5+ (equal to MGO 83+) and ends with 22+ (equal to MGO 1000+) a honey given a value 50+ is definitely not rated per UMF but per MGO and has thus less Methylglyoxal than a UMF 10+.

Great tasting honey with so many benefits!

This is not only a great tasting honey but it comes with so many benefits. I have a teaspoon every morning and it has kept me healthy. I got bronchitis while visiting New Zealand and the meds the doctors gave me did not help ANY. I went to a local store (shopping for a sweater) and the owner gave me some Manuka honey and I was better within 24 hours. I have been taking it daily since (and even started giving it to my dogs for their health).

Initially, I was reluctant to buy this from Amazon. I had been purchasing Manuka honey from Costco for quite a while. However, I decided to give this one a try because it had a halal sign on the bottle.After trying it, I have to say—I love the taste. It’s really good! But what impressed me the most was the traceability. I scanned the barcode on top of the cap and was able to successfully trace my honey using the lot number provided on the bottle.Highly recommended! I will definitely be buying this again.
