Great Fresh Tasting Coffee
This is really good coffee provided that you prefer smooth, lighter roast flavor. The pods are unusual in that the body is not aluminum. However, it is also not flimsy plastic. Whatever the material, it is very hard and works well in my espresso machine, which applies quite a large force and high pressure. The packaging apparently also preserves the ground coffee as judged by its fresh taste. I am pleased to be able to buy such good coffee at a reasonable price.

Smooth
This will be our new go to order. Smooth, no bitterness. Really good espresso! Good value for the price.

Good regular coffee.
I find this Espresso quite enjoyable. It's smooth and tasty, not very acidic. It's not easy to review coffee as everyone have their own experience.

Lungo Italian is AMAZING! Crema is a little bitter/acidic
Just wanted to give an update after about a month of drinking the Italian Lungo capsules in my pixie…. (I still don’t like the Crema ones straight but they are fine for a cappuccino) The Italian Lungo capsules are consistently delicious. I’ve not had a single defective capsule and I’ve gone through almost 4 boxes (40 capsules). I’m so happy I found these…. My favorite nespresso capsules (besides the amazing forest almond that was limited and discontinued over a year ago) are Vienna Lungo, Buenos Aires Lungo and Paris espresso. But these Lungo Italian capsules are just as delicious and I find myself reaching for them more than any of my nespresso capsules now. I don’t mind spending g more for quality products and have been purchasing nespresso capsules for years. I’ve tried others out of curiosity…. Starbucks, Target, Peet’s, etc…. And I usually go back to the nespresso capsules because they are just better. But these are amazing…. On par with my top pics from nespresso and at 25cents each it’s an unbelievable value. I noticed there were some reviews saying that they aren’t compatible with their nespresso machine….they ARE compatible with ORIGINAL NESPRESSO MACHINES. There are 2 types of Nespresso machines that use 2 very differently shaped capsules. The original machines use the original small capsules like these. If you have the vertuo machine with the big, wide capsules it’s obviously not going to work. I remember ring confused about this when I first bought my pixie years ago too. These work great with my nespresso pixie which is an original machine and I’ve not had a single dud. The general consensus is that the original espresso machines makes a better, fuller, more authentic espresso. I can’t say if that’s true or not because I’ve only ever had original machines. But I do love it. Original review: Decided to try these because the price was amazing and reviews were overall pretty good. I bought Crema espresso and Italian Lungo. I added a video showing them brewed in my original pixie nespresso machine and a quick taste test… The Crema flavor is, in my opinion, acidic and bitter. I don’t like that one straight but it might be good with a little frothed milk. But it’s intensity is 9/10 so if you like that strong taste with a definite acidic flavor profile you may like it. It’s fine for cappuccinos but I usually drink mine straight. The lungo Italian is AMAZING…. I’m so impressed by that one. Super smooth and delicious all in its own. Doesn’t need anything at all. I added a photo of my top 3 nespresso pods and these…. I go back and forth between Vienna and this Italian roast (first 2 on the left) as my favorites and will continue buying and enjoying them both.

Fine coffee, bad pods
The pods are a clever redesign of the Nespresso pods which uses much less material. Unfortunately, they don't work very well. Grounds end up in my coffee at least half of the time, and the soft body of the pods doesn't interact reliably with the clamping mechanism of the machine. Then, they leak a lot more than the Nestle pods after they're ejected. The Nestle pods pour neatly into the bin, but these cling to each other and the basket and scatter. It all compounds into making my machine more gross and a little more difficult to clean. The taste is appealing but definitely not as nuanced as the excellent Nestle pods. I can't quite justify these to myself.

Is this ever SAFE to DRINK?? Unreturnable and undrinkable
This is the first time in my many years of Prime use I was surprised by a "Prime" item unable to be returned. I purchased this coffee with a Nespresso machine based on the high number of positive reviews. The Nespresso pods are expensive and I was lured in by the $0.25 per cup option as a good value. After getting the system cleaned and set up, I was excited to try my first Italian Espresso in my new Breville machine. The brewing had a good aroma & looked like Espresso should. My first sip, however, was a terrible shock. The "Italian espresso" tasted like burnt paper with an earthy coffee finish that flirted with a moldy taste. I re-rinsed and filled the water tank, and then ran two additional water-only cycles. I tried a second pod. Again, the smell was espresso but the taste was absolutely awful - undrinkable. Since I'm new to the Nespresso world, I ran to our local market and picked up a Starbuck's Italian 10-pack of Pods on sale for $6.99 (now at $0.69 / pod and a $0.44 price jump per cup from the Amazon "value"). After running one more clean cycle, I brewed a Starbuck pod -- it smelled great and the taste was absolutely wonderful. That's why we bought this machine. In our home, Coffee is both a necessity and a joyful luxury. I was hopeful that 100 Italian Coffee Pods be a good everyday option. Based on the taste, I'm concerned whether drinking what comes out of these pods is even safe! Now I'm stuck with a $25.00 loss for a product I'm astounded had the number of positive reviews for the item. My advice to anyone looking for a Nespresso value, save your purchases for when one of your known go-to brands is on sale... and stay away from this product.

Tastes as good as, maybe BETTER than Nespresso pods
Got sick of paying for high priced brand name coffee (Nespresso). Thought I'd give these generic 'Italian Coffee' pods a try. I have the Nespresso Inissia machine, I think. Only takes the original line small capsules. These pods work fine in my machine. So the capsules are plastic but who cares? The taste of the coffee is EXCELLENT! Just the right body and crema. Not a hint of sour acid taste. No need to add sugar! They're a 7 out of 10 intensity level. I used to buy the Nespresso Volluto pods. These are in that mild to medium roast range, but actually TASTE BETTER. Its nice to be pleasantly surprised for a change! And of course these are MUCH less expensive than the Nespresso pods. Whoopee!

I bought these to try as I was tired of having to brew 2 pods of espresso just to get a decent amount of coffee for my milky drinks. These worked perfectly for my nespresso gran latissima and the price per pod is great. Coffee is very aromatic without being overly bitter or acidic. For reference my usual go to pods are the Lavazza Rosso pods. But I’m loving these! Especially for larger lattes and latte macchiatos.

I tried the Delicitaly Espresso Capsules (Lungo, 100-pack), and while they’re convenient and affordable, I found the taste too bitter for my liking. The espresso comes out strong, but not very smooth, and sometimes it’s a little acidic. It works okay if you add milk, like in a latte or cappuccino, but drinking it black isn’t very enjoyable. Capsules are easy to use and compatible with Nespresso machines, but the flavor could definitely be better.

A decent cup of coffee. Not as flavourful as my favourite Nespresso but at half the price I’ll take it for most mornings and savour my Nespresso for a relaxing Sunday morning. Box arrived packed well and in a timely fashion.

Great coffee for the price. Not aluminum, but they work well in Nespresso original machines and taste like cafe quality espresso and lattes
