The replacement filter for my Dyson V8 Animal works exactly as advertised. It was easy to install, fits perfectly, and I noticed an immediate improvement in suction power. This is a dual filter kit for a Dyson DC 41 and it functions like the original equipment - similar weight, feel, and I’m guessing operation.Install was like removal, just steps in reverse.The important thing to note here is that this set is NOT compatible with certain models. Just check here on this Amazon page for model compatibility.I’ve taken the liberty to take two photos of the card that came with the filters - this should assist, as of the the time of this review, with model compatibility AND where you find the model number in the unit(s) itself/themselves. On the DC41 it is on the upright stem/body of the vacuum… remove the canister and it should be on that body directly behind where the canister was against that body. For other models, I believe the backside of the card picture explains.The only thing I cannot attest to is how the filter that fits in the cyclone, the fabric one that’s designed to be cleaned with water… will hold up after doing it a few times. Only time will tell and I’ll update rating downward if there’s a problem with longevity of either two of those different filters.Hope this review helped in some way.

Just like OEM, but cheaper.
These filters look exactly like the originals, but less than 1/2 the price. My originals were so filthy. My son took the vacuum apart for me. Didn't know there were so many pieces. I tried rinsing the filters, but they were so dirty that I decided to get new ones. The picture looked good so I decided to try one set. These are great, and will order again. They fit great and the material is the same as the original.

Seems perfect
Fits my Dyson Ball perfectly. Restored the high suction that the vacuum is capable of, and got rid of the foul smell that used to happen every time I used the vacuum. Seems identical to the OEM Dyson filters at a better price than the name brand.
