Product is top quality and excellent value for price! After reading reviews I opted not to bother with the stencil and instead used the taping method. I used the following detailed steps: (1) Washed car and wiped hood edge with rubbing alcohol (2) Taped edge of hood with 3/4" tape carefully following hood contour (light blue tape in picture) (3) Measured the center on the front oval emblem to give the center of the hood (This is the long white strip of masking tape in picture) . The Explorer emblem center is 3/16” or .187” to the left of the O in Explorer) (4) Placed one letter a time with temporary masking tape (short white tape strips in picture) alternating from left to right with 1" spacing strips of tape (orange tape in pictures) between each letter (5) Carefully removed backing on each letter (one at a time starting at letter O and alternating left to right) [while keeping (white) masking tape on] and carefully stuck each one on. I removed all tape when done. Came out superb! My 2017 Platinum looks killer!

The stickers were easy to install and I love the look on my 2017 Explorer Limited. One of my favorite things about the Explorer Sport is the emblem on the hood. This gave me the look I was going for! Great quality and well worth the price! They are not cheap! They are chrome and heavy duty! Just make sure you line the template up correctly and you should have no problem placing your letter stickers straight.

These letters look just like factory after I put them on my 2013 Explorer XLT. I did not use the guide, but installed using blue tape to put a 'line' for them to install on. Followed the directions and the adhesion has been great, no issues and it's been through many hard rainstorms and thunderstorms. Definitely recommend, especially at this price point. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Can't even tell the difference betweent his and the stock emblem. Looks great and the adhesive holds amazingly. Really easy to install using the template they provide. Great for the price too.

Easy install I used the template that came with it which worked fine for me . The quality was much better than I anticipated for the price you can’t beat it . It really gave my explorer a more sportier look very nice add on very pleased with the purchase.

Love the look it adds. I decaled my other vehicle keep in mind. A little difficult to install even with the templet. A couple letters ended up a little crooked. Good adhesion. Definitely couldn’t pull them back off easily to fix.

I used the lettering on a 2008 Ford Explorer, Eddie Bauer. Great product! As you can see from the photo, the letters were not installed in the traditional position...across the front hood. Instead, I ran a chalkline down the crease of the hood. The template adheres lightly to vehicle. Insert letters...remove template, and you're done.But...Do NOT stretch template! Letters will still fit but will not be aligned properly. TAKE YOUR TIME! If you even drop a letter on your vehicle lightly...it will STICK! You'll probably damage your paint trying to remove it.
