This cable is a precision fit to extend Twinkly light strings. same connector sizes, shapes, and pliable feel. same 22 gauge wire and same diameter insulation. that said, be mindful of voltage drop, which ideally should stay under 3%. this 3m extension will see a total 2.7% voltage drop. The 5m extension will see a total 4% voltage drop which *could* impact life of the twinkly controller.

This matches the solar connection on a project where we came up short a foot - perfect quick and easy solution. Cable and connectors look well made and sealed - cable is flexible but feels tough enough for outdoors. It mated with the existing connectors and is working fine.

First off - doesn't matter which product you buy... Make sure you look at the 2 prong connector to confirm its the type you need. To that affect This cord was one of the only t bar kinds that would work with the lights i have. I don't know what manufacturer things 12 inches from the plug to the first light is appropriate, but I needed this extension. It fits perfectly though the screw cap is a bit snug, but that is expected as they are two different brands. Am very happy with the purchase.

The wire fit my outdoor water pump perfect. I needed to extend the solar panel further away and it worked. It was easy to connect and worked great.

The vendor was unable to answer any questions about the wire gauge. It's 22 Gauge (AWG) Also, the quality is a solid "meh" Putting this here in case it helps someone in the future. Also, this connector is (technically) comparable with Twinkly Christmas lights.
