Exactly as described! Works! Thank you
I just used this yesterday and works exactly as described! I found my old iPod in a drawer and tried charging it, and I thought is was just dead. A quick search, and I found this very reasonable priced kit, and not only are the instructions easy to follow, the battery had charge already and I can see it worked before closing the case. I did have to use my teenage son to put the battery connector in as it was very small and delicate. I held the light ;')

Great product, extremely hard to use and do.
For the record, I am reviewing: WAVYPO 616-0232 Battery, 900mAh High Capacity Battery Replacement Compatible with iPod 5th - 7th Generation Video Classic A1136 A1238 6th 80GB 6.5th 120GB 7th 160GB 5th 30GB Well the product is a one time use thing so the tools are not expected to last and they don't survive the process. The one thing I will say is this, if you don't have 20/20 vision, a really steady, and I am talking surgeons hands, then don't get this and take your ipod to one of those repair places and have them replace the battery. The connector for the battery on the ipod is so small and delicate that it came off instead of opening up like you see in the instruction video and I did everything like the dude in the video. It took me several hours to replace the battery and a hell of a lot of frustration. In the end the pins that connect the battery connector to the main PCB board broke and I do not have the steady hands to solder them back on so I have only the power in the batter and it will not charge. I broke my ipod trying to fix the battery and that is my bad. So be ware! Changing the battery is not that easy, problems can arise and I could probably get an MP3 player for the cost of replacing the battery on my ipod. Oh well.

Easy Install, Good Battery Life.
This battery was easy to install in my iPod classic generation 7 using the provided tools, but watch a few YouTube videos beforehand. After charging overnight, my iPod played continuous music former hours with plenty of battery capacity left.

Tools are No Good
Junk tool, it was too flimsy to pry the iPod apart. It just mangled the tool and left marks all over the iPod. We never got it apart. I've repaired and built many PCs from the ground up so I'm not clueless. Looks elsewhere.

Great quality battery, amazing capacity
I installed this in my iPod Classic 160 GB Slim. The battery was easy to replace, though I did not use the tools it came with (I use an iSesame). I was able to fit the battery after replacing the original hard drive with an iFlash Quad. Even then it was a very snug fit. Note that you can only fit this battery if you're using an iFlash Quad or are using a larger backplate. The battery itself seems to be extremely high quality. I can listen to somewhere around 500 songs before it's even showing at below half charge. I'm extremely impressed and happy with this. Between this battery and the 512 GB I put in the iFlash Quad, my old 2010 iPod Classic has a new extended life and is better than ever!

battery does not hold charge after a couple days
Battery fit right in and worked great for a couple days, but will not hold a charge for more than five minutes now.
