Great stuff, will work on its own.
I use this for parts cleaning because it is water soluble. I have also used this as an engine degreaser. With the price that they want for a can of engine degreaser. I decided why not try this. At the price for this I decided to just spray it on fully concentrated. Just spraying it on with a spray bottle removes grime. I spray everything really good and give it a few minutes to sit. Then I spray it off with full pressure of the hose. I usually spray it all down again with Oil Eater and do it again. I was kind of low on this product the other day that I diluted it 1:1 to clean everything under my front wheel well. I am redoing all the bushings and ball joints on my truck. After removing everything, I decided to spray everything down and clean it so there wasn't dirt and grime falling on me when I put it back together. Even with it diluted 1:1 it worked great. The next day I was looking at it, and everything was actually clean enough to paint everything in that area. So, I painted everything, and it seems to have stuck very well. I opened up the box of my new bottle of Oil Eater and it says it is now 3x more concentrated than before. I am sure that you could dilute it a lot more and still get a good clean. At around $20 a gallon, I have no problem spraying it at full concentration. I don't scrub anything. Just spray it on and hose it off. It also works great to clean the underneath of your vehicle if you need to work on it. You would be amazed at how clean it makes it just doing that. It makes working under your vehicle easier. Without having all the oil and road grime caked with dirt falling in your face. It will not completely clean everything off under your vehicle just by spraying it on and rinsing it off, but it makes a huge difference. I get my engine just as clean doing this method as the spendy can of engine degreaser gets it.

Best cleaner out there
Stuff works amazing. I repair lawn equipment and I use this stuff frequently. Engines and trans-axles get a greasy grimy mess built up on them over the years and I'll spray them down without diluting. Wait about 5 minutes and spray off with a hose. It's too easy. Makes them look brand new again. Also works to get grease stains out of clothes.

Great Product!!
So why only 4 stars? The packaging is confusing... the product is a concentrate, so in most cases needs to be diluted. The one gallon purchase has minimal instructions for dilution ratios per reason for use. The 32 oz spray bottle has instructions and even a little chart to make it clear. But... the spray bottle comes full (well, hopefully! :), so in order to use it, you need to pour some out and then add water to get the correct ratio. Or pour some into a different spray bottle and mix it there. Now, the 32 oz. spray bottle costs about the same as the full gallon without a spray bottle. But since you need a different spray bottle (or at least a different container) to use the spray bottle, it makes way more sense (and cents!) to buy the gallon and find a spray bottle to mix it in. I did that, and I took a screen shot of the instructions on the single spray bottle product's instructions and used that to make a label for my spray solution, marking the ratio mix I used on the chart on my label.Oh, and the product... using a 3:1 Water:OE mix, with very little effort I've cleaned many carpet stains which have been attempted numerous times before with no success. And about 7 months ago, while cleaning the print head on an ink jet printer, the saturated cleaning paper dripped ink on my beige carpet. Sadly the print head cleaning solution I was using only smeared that, making the spot larger and more noticeable. Using the same 3:1 mix, Oil Eater removed the ink from the carpet with just a few minutes of scrubbing with a wet sponge. And for the skeptics out there, yes there is still carpet where the stain once was! :-) This product is amazing!

Works on concrete.
I have a concrete driveway. I often get drip leaks on it from people coming to visit work here etc. I used to scrub, pressure wash, use an enzyme powder... it worked, but was a lot of labor and took a long time. So this stuff just works with minimal effort. Spray it on, wait, hose it off. This will get rid of almost all of the stain. If you pressure wash it will be mostly gone. Barely a hint of former stain. The sooner you get the stain the better. A product that actually delivers on its promise. Imagine that.
