Unbearable quality for the price
Impressed with the quality and value for money. Arrived with 2 tags showing certifications from the rws and another org which I can't remember right now. Had difficulty validating the RWS cert, but the other one was legit so I gave them the benefit of the doubt on this one. Wore one pair for 3 days 2 nights, and it held up well in terms of odor, keeping me dry, and comfort. Didn't walk away with a diaper rash either so I guess that's a point in favor of merino's microbial "resistance". Over all I would recommend these 100% over the competition. I'm guessing this is a case of integrated supply chain in a low cost of labor country leading to unbeatable prices and quality

These are my husband’s favorite underwear. He’s ever worn in his 55 years of life! Seriously!
The title really says it all! My husband has owned hundreds of pairs of underwear in his 55 years, and he says that these are by far is absolute favorite! He tears through every pair of boxer briefs that I’ve ever bought him, but he says these feel the most durable yet secure that he’s ever experienced! That’s a real statement coming from him! He loves the colors, he says the size fits exactly true to size, he loves the waistband, he loves the little men’s part in the middle, he loves the thickness of the fabric, the softness of the fabric, the stretch of the fabric, the durability of the fabric, the feel of the fabric, the way the fabric lays under clothes, just every single thing about it is perfect to him! Now I think he’s spoiled by luxury Merino wool, and there’s really no going back after this! This is a great gift for any man in your life. Don’t even think about it – just buy it right now! You’ll thank me later!

Super soft, but they do tend to ride up
I'm 6'2" and wear between a 32 or 34 waist pants. I ordered medium, as I do with other boxer briefs, and these fit pretty spot on. Perhaps a little on the snug side, compared to Hanes, but they have a lot of stretch. My only complaint is that the legs tend to ride up. My thighs are fairly large (cycling), which likely contributes, but it's something I haven't noticed with other underwear. Unlike cotton boxer briefs, these don't cling to my skin when sweaty, making them much more comfortable when doing something active. In terms of moisture wicking, they're a little better than cotton but not by a huge amount. Temperature regulation is definitely improved, and being wool, they don't get cold when wet. After a couple of washes, the fabric is EXTREMELY soft, as you would expect from merino wool. I picked "Pack2" (black, blue, and green), and love the slight heathering on the blue and green pairs. Quality was very high with all three, no imperfections in the fabric or stitching. Care instructions state to turn them inside out, then machine wash cold on gentle cycle, then tumble dry low. I hang dry all of my wool items, and they came out great. The full list is: "Turn inside out. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Iron as needed. Do not use softeners. Dry clean, short cycle." The iron symbol has a dot for low temperature. I really like these pairs of underwear, and can't wait to properly see how they do once it starts getting cold outside again. They look great, feel great, and do help temperature regulation. My only complaint is how prone the legs were to riding up. Price-wise, they do seem on the expensive side, but the cost per pair is in line with other reputable brands.

Runs small
Great material and well made. Only complaint is that they run small. I'm 5'9" and 160lbs with athletic build. Med almost always fits me, but these in Med are a bit too small.

An excellent value with a fantastic wool blend. An outdoor pro's perspective.
This is my third product from this brand, My first product from them was one of their T-shirts, I then reviewed a solo pack of underwear. I've been really impressed with the level of quality and the 83% Merino Wool blend thet use in their garments. I've been so happy with it that I've gone on to recommend this brand to many of my clients in my capacity as an outdoor pro. I'm a wool efficionado but I'm not a purist, I have no issues with blends and it's in my opinion the future of technical garments. It's been my experience that this particular blend maintains the breathability and moisture wicking properties of wool while still having a appropriate amount of stretch from spandex and extra durability from the nylon. The material is soft and comfortable especially after a few washes and has the odor control properties of wool which is a good benefit during backcountry use. I've used these extensively and extreme hot weather contracts and it's been wonderful to have on hand. I've also used them in cold and wet weather contracts and it's been just as an asset. Fit is true to the size chart, but you do have some give if need be. The front pocket could do with being a little wider but it's far from a deal breaker. This three pack is not cheap. But having used these garments extensively in the field and because of my previous experience with the brand I feel that it's more than fair and a bargain compared to how much merino wool technical underwear can cost. Some examples with similar feature sets cost just as much for a single pair. It's my opinion that the benefits that they bring as a base layer are worth the cost. It's been so nice to have this three pack plus the one pack from earlier on hand to rotate into the field. It's absolutely increased my backcountry quality of life.

Comfy and soft
Soft, comfortable, and seems like good quality. They're holding up well to use and washing. Fits a bit snug, but generally true to size.

Comfort That Actually Keeps Up
Hello Amazonians! Sean "The Tester" Chao here, back with another review for you! Today I am reviewing METARINO Outdoor-Ready Merino Wool Men's Underwear 3-Pack - Breathable Boxer Briefs for Hiking, Skiing & Trave Functionality: As a 40-year-old outdoorsy guy, these boxer briefs deliver where it matters — temperature regulation, moisture wicking, and no chafing on long hikes. The merino blend breathes well during uphill efforts and insulates on cool alpine mornings. The fit is athletic without being restrictive; the pouch support and flat seams make them comfortable under hiking pants and a base layer. Durability: After several multi-day trips and frequent machine washes on gentle cycles, the fabric has held up with minimal pilling and no loss of elasticity. Stitching at the waistband and leg hems shows no fraying. Color has stayed true despite sweat and sun. For me, the 3-pack has proven resilient enough to be a go-to rotation. Aesthetics: Clean, understated look — matte heather tones with subtle branding that doesn’t scream “technical.” The cut is modern and flattering without being flashy, which I appreciate for both trail and travel use. Final Verdict: These boxer briefs strike an excellent balance between performance and everyday comfort. They’re priced reasonably for merino-blend gear, perform reliably in varied conditions, and have proven durable in real-world use. If you want underwear that simplifies packing, keeps you dry, and lasts through seasons of activity, this is a solid pick. This Product Earns the Sean Seal of Approval!
