Sturdy construction and threads were finely machined. Attached well to my 58mm Threaded Lenses.

I bought this Altura Photo tulip lens hood (2.283 in) to use with my Canon EOS Rebel T100, and it’s been a great little upgrade.It screws on securely to the lens, doesn’t feel loose at all, and stays in place even when I’m moving around a lot. Since using it, I’ve noticed fewer unwanted glares and lens flares when shooting outdoors or in strong light, and the images look a bit more contrasty and defined. The material feels sturdy but lightweight, so it doesn’t make the camera feel heavier. It’s also easy to put on and take off, and you can reverse it on the lens for storage, which is super convenient for saving space in your bag. Fits perfectly on my Canon EOS Rebel T100.Reduces glare and lens flare in bright light.Lightweight but feels durable Can be reversed for easy storage. Overall, for the price, it’s a very useful accessory to protect the lens and slightly improve image quality. I would definitely buy it again, If is necesary.

Fits my camera perfectly. Nice and solid.

There is only one minor flaw. When threading onto any of my lenses or filters, it can screw on far enough so any rotational adjustment becomes impossible unless the user backs it off half a revolution. Once this is known, it works as intended.

Works with canon Rebel T6

The hood does the job and is of average value for the price. It screws on well but a modest jarring will cause it to come off. In certain positions, shorter flare is visible in the FOV. My biggest disappointment is that the lens cap "almost" clicks into place, but it will pop out spontaneously. This suggests to me that a small tweak in the engineering process would have allowed for the hood and the cap to share space. I do have to wonder if the modular nature of the design sacrificed function for adaptability. That being said, for a budget minded novice like myself, this lens hood from Altura is sufficient for a beginner's needs.

Received the lens hood in time specified. Find it difficult to put on and have to be very careful as it easily pops off. Some vignettes at the 18mm lens range. Seeing that I paid only 14.00 for it I can't complain as I am using it on regular basis. It bets Canon's price of 65.00+. NO cloth was included.
