Perfect
This was perfect for our use, to cover a chicken run. The ribbon on the ends made it easy to work with. It’s mesh so not super easy to work with but best one I’ve worked with for this use.

Not square, please read.
If you’re looking for a square 50’x50’ laid out then this is not for you. This is more of a netting that goes over a large fruit tree. Definitely did not work to put over my chicken coop. The sides droop because it’s tighter in the middle.Good quality for sure, It will only work for birds over the size of a black bird.Good luck ;)

This is like Fish Net - not like the plastic square bird netting I've used before, but better!
UPDATE: I'm liking this bird/squirrel netting more and more as I'm using it. Yes, it was quite the pain to cut to size for our purposes, but in use, it's great! The stretchiness and durability of the cording works well. Even though we have it draped over some metal t-posts which do have some sharp edges on top, the netting is holding up well and the threads aren't being cut. I am using 6" metal landscaping staples which I bought separately to secure the netting to the ground. No critters are getting in, and I'm harvesting an outstanding crop of organic blueberries! Yummmm!PREVIOUS REVIEW: This fish net style of bird netting was difficult to use for our purposes. If you're planning on keeping it whole and not cutting it up into smaller sections to use in different parts of your garden, then I'm sure that it would be fine. However, I wanted to cut it up, and found it very difficult to spread out evenly on the lawn so that I could measure it. It's very stretchy, and is made of nylon string, instead of the more rigid plastic that I've used before. The plastic netting which has little squares is much easier to cut in a straight line. But, I think that this string will probably be more durable. I bought little stainless steel 6" hoops to press into the ground to hold it down. We're hoping that this works well to keep the birds and squirrels away from our blueberries.

WILDLY INCORRECT MEASUREMENTS, WASTED MONEY AND TIME.
Against my better judgment, we ordered a 25 by 100-ft net after receiving a defective 25x50 net last year. Waste of money and time. The net was supposed to be 25 by 100 ft which it seems to be at the ends in theory, however, from end to end the net decreased in width all the way down to almost 10 ft at one point. I highly advise anyone from ordering these nets.

Easiest to use bird netting.
This netting is the best and easiest to use of all the different ones we have ever tried. My husband built a frame around our blueberry bushes and the netting was large enough to cover the entire structure. The packaging was excellent and the netting was loosely knotted to keep it from tangling. The 3/4” squares are big enough to let the bees in and out but small enough to keep the birds out.

it easily gets tangled and then game over
This really isn't what I expected. It is a soft string based mesh. It is very hard to work with unless you have a lot of room to work. It snags on just about anything and than it becomes a real challenge to free up. I gave up. I was also concerned that as a bird netting, that it would be more like a bird net as I can't see how birds could not become entangled in it. For the right expectations, it might meet your needs as it was strong and seemed well made but not for me.

Easy to install.... because I paid someone else to do it :-D
I bought a smaller version of this previously for a small orange tree. I can easily take it on and off myself as the smaller mesh lets the net glide more easily over the tree. However, just about every stick, leave, or any other debris gets caught in it along the ground. But that's true of every similar product. The first one I bought is on it's second year and the only tears in it are ones I made with a Bowie knife because I couldn't extract the stakes (until I decided to grind the heads off them and hang them like tree ornaments off the net for weight). The material is durable, remains soft, even after being in the Arizona sun for months, and isn't hard to work with. However, the 50x50 footer was a bit much for one guy with a ladder.... so I had someone else put it on. Took them only a few minutes by using extension poles, a guy on each side, and one to pull the middle over.Nice product.

Tough!
I bought this to go over my chicken run to protect them from predators. We live in northern Canada where it snows a lot and gets very cold. I ended up keeping it up all winter and there is very minimal damage. It is over all sharp corners of the coop and fence and it hasnt ripped in any of those areas. Very impressed with this so far. Sizing is also correct.

The netting is too large
I was so focused on the overall size of the net I didn’t see how big the squares are. This net won’t stop small birds at all. I returned this net
