Small and very useful claw clippers
Sharp clippers that make it much easier to trim my cats' nails than previous brands. Japanese quality really shows. Thin blades. Sharp and aligned well. Tip! feed your kitty immediately after trimming all their claws. I've done this 14.75 years. Makes nail trimming time much easier! These small clippers are easy to store, too. Don't take up much space in the drawer. Grip is small but easy to hold. They have good safety quality as there are no batteries or cords.

Sharp easy clippers
Love these, they seem so small and simple that they may not work? Not at all, they are sharp as heck, perfect size to wrangle a cat and hold them. I've now had these for a year and they are almost as sharp as I got them, no issues cutting, no chipping of the nails, and less fuss of having a dull blade push on their nails! Very nice clippers, definitely a great buy.

Excellent product - especially for an older cat with thick nails
Excallent product! These are the sharpest cat claw clippers I have ever used. The handle is slightly larger making the clippers easier to hold and they cut very cleanly without squeezing the nail. Especially useful for an older cat's thick nails. Worth the money!

Excellent Clippers
These are fantastic cat nail clippers: high quality construction and work really well! I like that they are small because they are discreet and less threatening. I bought this style of clippers because my vet said they were safer than the guillotine type. She showed me both kinds during a vet visit. This type of clippers is safer. While these clippers are more expensive than others sold on Amazon, I believer they are more than worth the price and will last a long time.

Nice clippers, but not much better than the cheap pair I already had
Our cat really doesn’t like getting her nails trimmed. She doesn’t mind her paws being touched, she doesn’t mind them being squeezed to make the claws extend, nor is she afraid of the clippers. But when the actual trimming starts she’ll do anything to wriggle herself free and run away, and she also doesn’t like being held. So we either have to restrain her in a two-person job to quickly get all nails at once while she yowls the whole time (stressful), or try to approach her a few times per day when she’s relaxing and sneak in a few nails at a time over 1-2 days (tedious). We have a similar cheap pair of $6 Frisco nail clippers that do the job okay, but I decided to upgrade to these Necoichi clippers to see if they made any difference in how much our cat minded her nails being trimmed. I figured if they slice through the nail in a cleaner and more comfortable way, maybe she wouldn’t mind as much. I think these work nicely, and maybe they cut through the nail slightly smoother/cleaner than the $6 pair. But it certainly wasn’t the miraculous difference I expected from reading all the good reviews. Our cat disliked us doing it just as much as usual - she let me get 2-3 nails max before pulling away, so didn’t see a difference in her behavior. These also feel looser compared to the cheap pair, and they don’t have a finger rest. Overall these are good clippers, a little sharper than the cheap pair and I will definitely keep them, but I wouldn't say they're so much better that it was worth paying $20 for them. I guess that means either these aren’t so great, or my cheap pair were already pretty good after all!

Far better than the others I’ve used
The previous clippers I had were not very sharp and ended up crushing my cat’s nail before finally cutting it. These have smaller blades and it’s easier to see where the cut will be. And the blades are night and day sharper. He barely felt the cut - it was like cutting butter with a hot knife. Easy peasy for both of us.

Don’t save for later- get it now
10/10 so sharp! Does not split or crack the nail whatsoever. I would gift this to every cat parent I know! The quality really shows. It has been hanging out in my saved for later list for months.. so glad I finally purchased it!
