Altego 15.6-Inch Clear Laptop Sleeve, Platinum (36022)

This is a great laptop sleeve, well worth the $22! That said - do your research and measure the actual dimensions of your laptop - the comments about improper sizing are accurate and should be carefully considered. I purchased this for an ASUS G46 14" laptop that I just received from Big Blue and it fits perfectly - very snug and no gaps. However, I bought the 15.6" version specifically to properly fit a 14" laptop - if I bought the 14" version the sleeve would be way too small. Check your dimensions and if you have a 15.6" laptop you probably need the 17" sleeve.....The sleeve itself is just as advertised, bulky yet sleek air bubble top cover, I can see thru it perfectly. The bottom has adequate padding and the zippers appear to be sturdy and stitched in well. Perfect sleeve to carry around and even better, it fits snug in the Swiss Gear Synergy 15.6" backpack computer sleeve that was purchased to go with it. If you size it right to your laptop and backpack sleeve I highly recommend it.

I was very excited to receive this case because I love the unique design. However, it does NOT properly fit the 15-inch MacBook Pro as promised, so I had to return it. The case was too roomy for my MacBook Pro, and I did not feel like it would provide adequate protection for the computer because there was so much space for it to move around inside the case. Also, while the case is very padded on the front and back sides, the edges of the sleeve provide almost no padding, leaving the sides of your laptop vulnerable to impact. But, this may also be due to the fact that the case did not provide a snug fit for my computer.Bottom line: It's a really cool case, but it doesn't fit my laptop. If you buy this, and find that it fits your computer, great!

I have Gelaskin Art on my early 2011 15" MacBook Pro and this is the best way to show it off while provide as good as if not better protection than a neoprene sleeve, although some sleeves do have better edge protection. I am also a little leery if out in the sun or heat too long that the plastic side will stick to my Gelaskin. When I put my speck case on it is a perfect fit into the case but since I don't have a see-through speck case it defeats the purpose. Without a case on there is a little wiggle room, but not enough to concern me. Excellent construction quality and while I haven't tested it yet through TSA I'm looking forward to not taking it out of the case as I travel A LOT!!

They're well padded for maximum protection, yet fit like a glove, allowing your laptop to take up a minimum of space. Inexpensive too, as I have priced many laptop covers lately, including those that afford style without proper protection. Altego laptop sleeves are hard to find, but but well worth the effort.The first one I owned had problems with both zippers, which eventually broke, perhaps because the fit is so perfect, maybe a bit too tight. Be careful placing your laptop in the sleeve, and make sure you pull the zippers in a smooth fashion, not jerking them at all. I bought two this time, just in case I have a problem down the line. It's a minor complaint considering the neat, clean look and space saving feature.

I have two of these in the larger laptop sizes. I like them so much I ordered the 10" for the tablet I am going to get. They are smart, fasionable, protective, with dense cushioning on both sides. The clear bubble protects but does not hide the beauty of your laptop or tablet. It does what it was designed to do at an excellent price expecially given the quality and duraability of the product. However, I would not leave it in direct sunlight for any length of time as it could harm, or discolor the soft bubble cushining. One would certaily not want to do that anyway with your delicate instrument in it.

this case works perfect for what I need. I just wanted protect from all the other thigs rattling about in my back pack. The bubbles look neat and all my friend comment they want to pop them (obviously they cant). I havent tried the airport thing but i will next month and will report back. Overall good protection (more than most) but not a hard case.

It's actually an awesome case. Perfect fit for my laptop. Good protection (maybe not so much from zippers) and I get compliments all the time on it, but I open it constantly per class and at home and the zipper around the corners get caught or bend wrong and will no longer zip all the way. So I have no choice but to just slide it in with one of the diagonals open. Not much protection when I put it in my backpack with my other books....disappointed.

We all use these sleeves for our laptops at work and love them. While the sleeves are made for MacBooks, we have Dell Vostro laptops and they work just fine. They protect the laptops during travel to and from work and also for travel outside of home base. We like that the sleeve provides a bubble-like protection shield around the laptop and is light enough not to add additional weight. We have 7 of these so far (some over a year old!) and they have all held up with very little visible wear and tear. Highly recommended.
