I bought this to hang kitchen utensils, but some holes in the handles of my utensils won't fit around the hook. I was able to use all of them, but on my next order I bought "10 Piece Magnetic Hooks - 1 ½ Inch Heavy Duty Nickel Plated Hanging Hook..." sold by Everything u Need on Amazon. The hooks are straighter so they accommodate all my utensils. They also cost less, so probably the magnets aren't as strong as 48lbs. Many reviewers are using this product on boats. My application is only in the kitchen. I also agree with other reviews who point out on all these products the magnets are overrated for hanging strength.

Amazing little items to put on any wall of the ship to hold just about anything from hats, purses and wet suits that are on a coat hanger. I even put two hooks side by side to hold heavier items and that worked out great for backpacks, etc. I would definitely buy these again. They are so strong. The hook actually unscrews but I never used that option - it would be hard to take the magnet off without the help of holding the hook! I used clip magnets that were not as strong to hold notes on the wall that I did not want to lose. Great Buy.

Bought these on recommendation for upcoming cruise...they are super strong and can hold quite a bit of weight.I tried one out on the cross-bar for my coat closet and hung my purse on it...no problem!

We bought these for cruising and they worked very well but I’ll have to buy another package before the next cruise. Why? I left them on the wall in the cabin! Also great for your refrigerator. Nice and strong!

These hooks hold as many pounds as is in the description.They are fantastic. I use some to hang varying sizes of scissors on Refrigerator.I use some to hang coats inside front steel door, among other things.I love these hooks!!Warning: Do not connect two magnetic hooks together when not in use,It takes Hercules to get them apart. Store each one separately.

I currently live in a small apartment where I have to be creative to make it functional. I tried hanging my pot holders with other magnet hooks that I had but they just slide down to the floor. Switched to these and suddenly I could hang anything that I could get over the hook. Wish I had more metal walls in this place.

I love these! They are strong enough to hold brooms and dusters to the side of my fridge. They do the job I hoped they would.
