Magic Adventskalender: 24 magische Tricks bis zur großen Weihnachtsshow

Got this as a fun alternative to traditional advent calendars. My 12 year old is at the age where she has outgrown the lego ones but i’m not keen on getting her the make up ones so I thought this was a good idea. What a disaster. Everything is printed in German so she had no idea what she was doing. For the first day we sat and used google translater to get the directions and she was able to do the first trick but it was too much work to carry on doing that for 23 more days. She continued to open the days and tried to pick the bones out of what she needed to do for the tricks but it proved to be too difficult and she eventually gave up. The concept was great and had it been in English I know she would have loved it but the language barrier killed the whole activity. Such a shame.

This was a gift for my 7 yr old grandson. I was told he needed to brush up on his German to understand how some of the tricks worked .

I loved the idea of this however imagine the disappointment on my sons face to find instructions in German & nothing in English- very disappointed as you need instructions to do the tricks 😔

Lovely quality. It’s a shame it wasn’t clearly marked that the instructions are NOT in English.

We're really enjoying this advent calendar, such a great idea and the tricks are all very accessible for my 10 year old. The items are good quality and well thought out, and the book of instructions is well designed with clear pictures to help with the tricks. Yes, it's all in German, but this was obvious from the images on the listing as well as in the product description, so I think it's a little unfair to score it poorly based on lack of research before buying. I bought it as I really wanted something creative and different for advent, and as I speak enough German I decided to give it a try. So glad I did, it's really fun! Thank you Amazon for stocking international items which don't exist in our country, giving us greater buying choice.

Most it the items are cheap quality and they are not in the sections of the advent calendar they drop down out of the section. So when you open the door it's empty. There are no English instructions all the information is in German only.This should be made very clear. You can't download any instructions in English or any other language. DON'T BUY. Seller not helpful.

Good quality but pretty useless as instructions are all in German.No English translation. There should have been a note to alert you before buying.And.... how easy would it have been for the manufacturer to have put a translation on line....but no.Nicht gut genug (Not good enough)

Again disappointed with Amazon !! My grandaughter has been waiting patiently for the 1st December to open her advent calendar...and it is completely useless as it is all in German. Would not be so bad but pretty obvious with magic tricks that you need instructions.
