Good container for storage

I just got the leads in today. All 360 pieces. It has come in the same package seen in the picture, but in a bronze/gold color instead. They are all HB and all of it is genuine Pentel. I bought them for $17, Amazon as the seller (more expensive, but I know I will get what I ordered for). They are good pieces of lead, maybe not the highest of quality, but good enough that the price and amount is worth the purchase (I think. Each 30 piece tube is less than $2). I will be using them in my old Dr.Grip and the brand new Pentel GraphGear that I just bought, shipped with the lead. I bought them for school usage. I expect that 360 pieces of lead will last me a very, very long time. I say if you know you will be using 0.5 lead for a long, long time, and want it at a economic price, decent quality, and a great quantity, then it should be a happy purchase. Five stars for getting what I ordered, and for what it is, good lead.

I believe that everyone should be familiar with Pentel's lead. It's the only brand that I've ever used, and I love it. It came in a bigger cardboard box as the pencil shows with 12 individual plastic boxes inside. I wish that they could have just put everything in one big plastic box to save the amount of material used. To my knowledge, this is the cheapest place to get these lead. It's cheaper by at least 50% (or I get 2 for the equivalent of 1 at the stores) unless anyone knows of a better place. Then, please contact me. I bought 2 boxes, just in case. After all, lead won't break down spontaneously.

This pack of mechanical pencil lead refills is a great value compared to every other option out there. This should last a fair amount of time for a full time student!

Ah, 0.5 graphite, my old love. Always there when I want you, somehow always slipping out of my backpack when I need you most.Well not anymore! With this 12-in-1-box, I'll make sure I never run out again! A little pricey but better than having to waste thrice the price trying to find it in my county.As for the actual product, it's graphite, it works exactly as you expect it, and it comes without any of the delicate sticks being broken.

Lead is strong and does not break easily, however, it does happen to me quite often [I press too hard and the pencil I use is know to be a lead-breaker (ZEBRA M-301)]. It also does not smear, which is a good thing since I am left handed and my hand drags along the paper as I write (I use it with Norcom notebook paper, which doesn't smear anyway).

The lead is good old fashioned 0.5 lead. It writes and writes away. As with 0.5 lead you cannot extend as much out of the pencil as you do with 0.7 because it breaks easier.My only gripe with this is that the lead gets lighter as you write. While you write the lead begins to form an angle. If you continue with it, it will be very light and hard to read, so you must continuously rotate the pencil in your hand to keep the lines dark and legible.

When I bought this I thought I would receive 3 boxes with 12 tubes, in total 360 pieces of lead, instead I only got 3 tubes with 30 pieces each one.

I am not sure why some of the reviews are stating they only got a single tube of lead(unless there was an error in the ware house and the wrong item was sent). But I got a full pack of 12 lead tubes containing 30 leads each as advertised. I use lead pencils alot for my school work and just writing down in general; so this bulk buy was excellent for me at a very reasonable price. The lead is good quality and does not break easily when writing. Product is excellent and I am satisfied with my purchase

Wary because of all the other reviews that only got one tube, I went for it anyways and got the entire box. Not sure if they fixed it or I got lucky. Otherwise, this lead is just fine.

Came as the full box of 12 tubes and 360 pieces for me. Couldn't be any happier for the price, should be set for mechanical lead for the foreseeable future. Seems high quality, made in Japan.

Product came without lead in every box, except one of the three 0.7mm boxes. It wasn't supposed to have 0.7mm lead at all...
