Excellent Customer Service & Cactus Mix
After receiving my cactus mix I had a specific question relating to the soils composition. I called the number listed on the Tank’s Green Stuff website and I was able to speak to a manager right away. He addressed my question and also went as far as contacting local experts in the Arizona area to further address my question which they did. I was very impressed, Tank’s Green Stuff went above and beyond to make this customer happy. As far as the soils composition it is consistently chunky and light providing my plants with the right amount of drainage, air and water retention that they need.

Compoenants
Very good and well stocked compost soil mixture. Contains a varied assortment of organic and inorganics in proportions you would find in a natural unaltered setting for succulents. My transplanted Trigona is responding well.

Wonderful Chunky Airy Mix for Cactus
This is a great soil for cactus and succulents. I have tried several different mixes and this is my favorite by far. No perlite here, just genuine porous rock/pumice. And none of that sphagnum filler holding in extra moisture! The final test is how the Prococo Coconut chunks will be doing in my humid Midwest climate. I will update after a few months.

Great growing medium for plants
Recommend this medium for any plant type that prefers loose and fast-draining soil with a neutral, slightly acidic pH. I use this medium for succulents and moist/well drained soil type plant lovers. I almost gave up on my Calathea but with the right type of medium I was able to rescue her. Pictures are 1 1/2 weeks progress. It is on a south facing window and am using a humidity tray with pebbles slightly 1/2inch wider than pot. Use hot water that has kept the soil moist, only watered the top 3 times in a month. I also am using a zip long bag and tie a ribbon around this plant letting it air out for 30 minutes daily and cover it right back. Thought I'd share my success with everyone!

Chunky Soil!!!
Love this soil!!!! Drains well. The only thing I would change is the big coco chips because although it drains well, the coco chips retain a lot of water and therefore takes longer to dry out.
