My absolute favorite indulgence

This brand is excellent. I buy turron blando whenever in Spain and was glad to see there's a quality product on amazon, reasonably priced. It is also sold as a 3-pack which saves you a few dollars. I tried different brands over the years and this one always comes on top. Nice gift, too. Not commonly found or consumed in US.

I've had turron before, chewy pull out your fillings turron, but this is different. Crumbly sweet goodness made of almonds and sugar. I crumble a bit on any cream dessert, (pudding, creme brulee, cheesecake). In combination with a bit of fruit--magic. Granted it is a bit pricey but it is delicious and worth having in your pantry. So yummy. Think halvah but much less dry and full of almond goodness. Enjoy!

I've had other turron before and never had a problem with it being totally encased in oil. Apparently oil had leaked out of what was supposed to be a shrink wrapped package, of course this is not returnable. I won't be eating this because there should not be all this oil all over the place and also the concern that the package was apparently partially open.
