My problem areas are mostly on the front where i noticed thinning and loss if volume, possibly due to hormones since i am of that age, which is where i primarily focused on and seen results from. I have used various methods and products before Regaine, non have worked and most in fact created issues like spots and rashes. For the first six months i diligently applied this foam every night but due to me traveling a lot and not having the time to fit this in my schedule, the rest of the time i am applying it maybe 15 day out of 28 days of most months, for best results it’s best to apply once a day, everyday cause thats when i saw best and consistent results. The first couple weeks results were slow if any but patience is key, i noticed lesser hair fall by the 2nd to 3rd week and new growth in the 3rd to 4th week. I have not observed any abnormal growth of hair anywhere else. If any, it is not noticeable to me. I use slightly less than 1/2 a cap each session and 1 can usually lasts me 2-4 months depending how often i apply it. My method of application involves spraying into bottle cap, using a cotton bud, soak some of the foam onto the bud and apply between sections of hair, direct onto scalp I wish i was able to apply this product more consistently to see better results but it no doubt works for me. As you can see, volume of hair has increased. And my problem area is much fuller. I no longer feel as self conscious about my hair. I have started on the second can, about 2 weeks in. I do not notice any abnormal growth of hair on anywhere other than where i have applied the foam. If any, it is not noticeable to me. I have diligently applied the foam to problem areas once a day since i purchased this and will continue to do so. Will come back to update again when i’ve finished the second can. Original : Progress is slow but it works. It works out to be cheap in the long run. After suffering with years of hair loss I was sceptical about the ability of this to make a difference but decided to give it a go. I have been very pleasantly surprised to find it is making a difference. After two months my hair looked darker due to hairs coming through stronger. My husband was also so suprised at the positive impact he decided to try using the men's version on his own thinning hair. I apply this at night and wash my hair in the morning. My only regret is I didn't start using it sooner since after a time some follicles are not not going to recover.

DON’T BUY this product if you love and care about your skin!! It caused me a serious SEVERE ECZEMA and I will have to go hospital now as nothing helped from Eczema and allergy pills and creams. I started using this product about 2 weeks now, in the first days I experienced slight itching on my scalp and more hair loss I thought that’s maybe the product working and kept on using it because I just trusted it, and now 3 days ago I started experiencing a rash on my ears so I got concerned and stopped using the product and took allergy pills but still the rash got worse and spread on my neck, it become very itchy, my ears got swollen and inflamed I couldn’t sleep that night I would wet cotton disks put them on my ears, bring the fan next to me and sleep on my back. In the morning I went to the pharmacy and they given me this Clobetasone butyrate cream it helped calm the flare ups and itch abit and I could sleep at night but today morning when I woke my cheek was hot when I looked in the mirror I seen the same rash of how this eczema started so now I’m thinking to go hospital because it’s a sunday gp is closed and this serious and urgent!! I absolutely regret using this this product 😢knowing that I used it the right way as advised in the instructions I would make sure to not touch my forehead and ears with it and if I do I wash the affected area with soap and water but still look what happened to me the ingredients used in it are just too strong and aggressive for our scalp and skin! I HIGHLY UNRECOMMEND IT! If you really care about skin please think twice before using it! Update 23 June 2020: The company basically did nothing about my complaint they just offered a refund of the product’s cost, and said that such incompatibilities are expected from cosmetics yes this is how they deal with their customer’s complaints unfortunately. My skin rash is healing finally after the second prescription, but my extreme hair loss from the product persists it’s worse than before, I uploaded a photo so you can see the amount of hair I lose everytime I brush my hair now and since it doesn’t seem to stop I will need another treatment for my hair. I just hope people read my review before buying this product so they don’t through this horrible nightmare that I’m still suffering from😞

I was told about this product by a dermatologist who I saw after many years of gradual hair loss. He said that I had Female Pattern Hair Loss. I used the foam for over a year and initially it certainly helped and others noticed an improvement in the thickness of my hair, too. However, I had to stop using it as it caused itching and discomfort.

I started using Regaine in Feb 2025, it is now Aug 2025. I was sceptical, but thought it was worth a try. Being 61 and way past the menopause I really thought it was too late to make a difference. I had large bald patches and had reluctantly bought a wig. To be honest the cost of Regaine had put me off before, as I thought it was a lot of money especially if it didnt work. I have waited before placing my review, until I was sure enough of the results. I can honestly say my hair is so much better! Most of the bald patches have gone and what was the worst two areas has hair growth, finer than the others - but definitely hair growth!! Family and friends have remarked how much better it is looking, and I feel more confident going out, (even in the wind), than I have for a long time. I wanted to post this review in case there is someone out there who wondering if this will work for them. It has for me, and I would certainly recommend it. You have to use it every day, As I had such a lot of hair loss I admit to using more than the recommended daily amount as I couldnt get it to spread far enough. But it works, and is surely worth a try!!

Works but be patient. First used this last year for a couple months, saw no change and gave up. But January this year I made it my mission to stick to it as it was either that, or start researching wigs. Due to stress and PCOS, I had barely any hair left. I wish I’d have taken a before and after photo, I really do! I’m now 8 months in and I no longer have bald patches and my hair is noticeably thicker to the point where I no longer feel embarrassed. My mum, friends, and my hairdresser have all noticed. Only downside is it’s giving me hair growth all over my body, my legs grow quicker and I have a horrendous moustache haha, so I’m having that lasered. But the laser is working a treat so all in all, I’m happy.
