Frigidaire FFPA1222U1 Portable Air Conditioner with Remote Control for Rooms up to 550-sq. ft., 12,000 BTU, Black

Runs very quiet. I keep checking the room thermostat to make sure the Frigidaire is even working. Don't really feel cool air unless standing right by it. Bought this for a bedroom, and also a refurbished DeLonghi portable air conditioner (the DeLonghi came from ebay, cost a little less than half the Frigidare). The Frigidare is supposed to cover more square feet than the DeLonghi, but that hasn't been the case. Both were easy to put hose in window, both have easy to clean filters. The DeLonghi does a better job of keeping my apartment cool, seems to have more power, (does run a little noisier), seems like it will outlast the Frigidaire. If I had to do over, I would have went with 2 refurbished DeLonghi's. Won't buy Frigidaire again.

These units do not last longer than 2 years Max the refrigerant runs out the unit is sealed and cannot be recharged. Works great when it's new.

The window plate for the exhaust hose did not fit in our old window. Cools the entire upstairs. I would recommend this unit for anyone.

This AC is so quiet and it keeps my whole house cool "750" sq ft. WOW I never expected it to completely go beyond my expectations!!!

Easy to set up! Cools the room instantly. Very stylish too! Love it!

I had this for 3 months before it started leaking water everywhere. I only use fan or cool mode so it shouldn’t need draining. When I do drain it a tiny amount of water comes out but it continues leaking. It weighs 80 pounds so tipping it over to get water out is getting old fast. Customer service is overwhelmed and I can’t get anyone on the phone to help replace or return it. This was a huge waste and the last frigidaire product I’ll be buying.

I use it for my living room/kitchen area and I keeps us very cool! Good buy!

This air conditioner did exactly what I needed it to do!! Before my room would not go below 80 degrees now it's nice and cool and in most cases cold and I love it!!
