I separated these out. I was mostly disappointed about the large amount of cracked and opaque pile on the bottom left. They are completely unusable! There were even more butterscotch amber pieces which I personally don’t like…that’s not their fault…but there seems to be an excessive amount. So between those two piles and the mostly rock pile it comes to over half of the amber that I can’t use for my project. I’m debating on getting another set so I can have more but what will I do with all of the things I can’t use. I’d even give it a lower score but it’s always a crapshoot when purchasing amber in bulk…so that’s my choice. I’m hoping someday I’ll find the beauty in the butterscotch amber but I’m still waiting. The pieces along the top I can use. They’re very beautiful. If I need more I’ll order them again. At least I know what I’ll be getting. On a bright note there were two very beautiful pieces of cherry amber in there!!

Happy with the product , I preferred the clear ones the best , the cream color one are unique the Black ones interesting, still imagining the other possibilities of how to use them

These Amber pieces are stunning. They arrive dusty in a plastic bag. I gently rinsed them off to reveal a remarkable amber and golden hue that shines. It's easily 2.5 handful of pieces. I bought a 5 inches selenite bowl to display them in and not all of the amber will fit in the bowl.

These are plastic. They melt under heat, have no scent other than burning rubber, and have no effect. No holes for jewelry either. They are also too large to put in 10ml essential oil bottles, so I can't use them at all, and the return window closed on me so I can't even return these useless things. Don't buy.

Disappointed some because this lot was not very useful for me. Pay close attention to the photos so you can get an accurate idea of the size of these pieces it is difficult to gauge just how small. They are very small and nearly impossible to work by hand. Most of this material has already been worked and/or tumbled so not likely you will find any interesting inclusions like insects. Most could be drilled but will most likely shatter at this size. I have worked with amber for years and this is real amber, when you sand it you get the distinct smell of tree sap or something like pine tar that is hard to fake. I wish the seller would create lots by piece size and weight I would buy more if I could get larger pieces.

a good assortment of polished pieces a reasonable quantity for my needs. They flouresce a beautiful pale green under UV light. The real deal!
