I was scrambling. I needed a gift for the swap. They originally said $10 but everyone usually went over so coming in under $20 made it more attractive. The ultimate owner unboxed it there and turned it on. Nice and bright and the size seemed good. There are bigger sizes listed but I almost think this is close to the sweet spot. Too much bigger might be too much.

Item is defective! I bought this for my 8 year old for Christmas and had to return it c it wouldn’t charge. They sent a replacement one and it also won’t charge. My son is very disappointed as am I bc it’s a great concept and now we need to find something just as cool to replace it with.***UPDATE 3/1/2019***The company immediately reached out to me after I left my previous one star review and sent out a replacement globe. I find their customer service to be excellent. They also sent a larger replacement than we had previously had. Upon arrival I immediately used it’s initial charge. We got about 3.5 hours out of it initially. I then read the directions and charged according to them exactly. There is an internal red light on when charging. It said to charge no more than 2 hours. Just make sure the button on the bottom of the glove is pushed in to charge. The red light went out after about 1.5 hours so I immediately unplugged it. When I tried the product it worked! Better than the last two globes we owned that would not recharge after its first use. I made sure to tell my son (8yo) to let me know when it needs recharged so I can make sure it’s done correctly. I gave them a new 4 star review based on customer service and the fact that this product did work. I had to leave once star off bc of the previous globes that did not work and the fact I have to make sure it’s charged just right. The company did indicate that they changed some things to help resolve the issues I and others had had with charging. If I have any issues I will come back to update. Overall, I’m very satisfied with how this was handled and my son was happy to have his night light back.

If you want very minimal light this is for you. It's just not a bright enough light for my daughter's night light. But it is very cool. Even my cat rolled it onto the ground from on top of the table it did not break and it still works!

Bought 2 of these for my kids rooms. They love them. They look like the moon, and are colorful. However, they die and need to be recharged constantly. They didn't come with the usb outlet plug, so I have to borrow from anther device. And, they are very sensitive to touch. For example, when I set the timer so they go off after an hour, hoping my kids are asleep by then...if the nightstand is knocked, or the kids touch it again, it deletes the timer.

Beautiful lamp! I purchased it for a friend, but I checked to see if it was correct and working before gifting.It was super easy to put together and already came mostly charged. The 3D print is very nice, although it's definitely much better looking lit up. I wouldn't say it's super durable, but I'm sure it could take a few minor falls.My favorite color is actually the white, but the other colors are very beautiful. It goes perfect in my friend's space-themed room. Pictures do not do this product justice, and it weirdly photographs/videos with weird lines though the item itself does not cause line lights in real life, so don't be alarmed by any photos that have the flickering lines.I'm not sure about the battery life or any other longtime issues that may occur because it is only a week old and no longer in my possession.I purchased the 5.98 size and I really find it to be the perfect size to sit on a nightstand or desk. It's just big enough to cup in your hand but not too big where you'd need two hands to hold it.The remote and touch pad (on the moon) are easy to use and are very cool! You don't need both to change the color or setting of the lamp.It comes with easy to understand instructions, the stand pegs, a remote, a small charger (no outlet charger as the product states; it is a USB charger, but you can hook it up to any cell phone charger box to connect it to an outlet), and a string to hang it (though we did not use that).

Update: the company reached out to me and sent a replacement. The new light works perfectly and has had no issues. It appears the first one was faulty. My daughter is happy with the light and recommends it.Super cute and my daughter loved it….. until it almost caught fire and started melting!

I got the 5" diameter and was worried it would be too small but it's a great size! I've always wanted a moon lamp like this and having a remote and extra color features really made me go ahead and buy one. It's bright enough to cast a soft glow in the room and the stand is easy to put together and doesn't look cheap.During the day the moon part does look a little plastic but it's not so much that it would deter me from buying it. The charge lasts a good amount of time but not as long as I'd prefer but since it does charge and not use batteries I'm not upset about it.It also comes with a string if you'd like to hang it up. Overall a great addition to a room and worth the buy!

The remote and string was missing, so returned.I had ordered others and they were far lesser in size than told but this one has correct size (5.9 inches). mentioned.Didnt check the functionality, as there was no remote and hence immediately ordered the return - which was prompt in pick up as well as refund.

There was no mention of Onpoint brand. The packaging box of lamp was broken, the lamp itself looked dirty and had scratches, there was no covering over it. The remote had cracks on the backside and top, returned immediately. Also, the page mentioned there would be a hook and string, but there were none.

Totally disappointed that i got the moon lamp, it's stand and USB only, both the times I ordered it. The remote, hook, user manual and string were not there. It was for my kids birthday but he was so upset dat he didn't get what v actually ordered.
